What am I missing with the bigger helmet logo?

I heard it was big news we were going with the bigger helmet logo but didn't really see much of a difference when I saw the two side by side. Guess the logo is about 1/3 larger...maybe not quite that much. People seem really hyped over it for some reason though. It's not like the other was comically miniscule. I suppose, aesthetically, the larger one looks better, but there's no way I would have noticed a difference if I hadn't been told.

Admittedly, I've never been a uniform discussion guy. One of my wishes for Gamecock football is that we would pick something and stick with it. It's probably way too late to start any kind of uniform tradition at this point, but I wish at some point in the past we could have just picked one uniform combo and have that be it.

The larger one is significantly better from an aesthetic perspective.

Carolina uniforms are better now than they've ever been. The garnet is finally garnet. The striping is consistent from helmet to jersey to pants. The white helmet is the same white as the uniforms. We fully utilize our school colors without getting weird.

Excellent uniforms overall. The larger logo just makes them that much better.

There used to be a poster on here a long time ago who literally had every uniform combination that was used going back decades. If you asked "what uniform did we wear when we played Georgia in 1997" and he could give you the exact combo. He was a savant in that respect....
