I'm hoping this will not turn too negative. What are we looking forward to for next year? Which position groups look good to very good?
He didn’t produce much in the way of catches once we got into big ten play but he will be a bright spot for sureClark looked good today
I hope he blossoms next year and makes his dad proud. He lost him way too youngHe didn’t produce much in the way of catches once we got into big ten play but he will be a bright spot for sure
Literally my thoughts exactly. We have one guy that is better than the guys on the other side. Pritchett is also good. We need to spend a lot to have any hope.Archie is an amazing punter! He had a 42.6 avg today.
I think we need to see who is entering the Portal before an accurate evaluation can be made.I'm hoping this will not turn too negative. What are we looking forward to for next year? Which position groups look good to very good?
Are you serious? Its true before the bowl NU averaged 39 yards a punt, not bad. But he shanked punts fairly often, especially into the wind, and they caused some serious loss of field position. I'm hoping Koch gets a serious look next fall, except he won't because Eckler wants a rugby punter. I expect Koch goes into the portal.Archie is an amazing punter! He had a 42.6 avg today.
Not gonna happen. This fan base will support a fraud to the very end.Sellout streak comes to an end and less than 40,000 people show up for games. This will force changes to be made.
Need to stop supporting the fraud or this will continueNot gonna happen. This fan base will support a fraud to the very end.
I’m not so sure anymore. Indiana showed people to spend and lots of teams are opening the check books. Hell look at Tech. There’s big money every where and everyone wants to be the Hoosiers. It'll come down to money and nothing else. Thats the state of the union.
I know people are all looking at Cignetti, but my expectations are (sadly) WAY lower. Like "let's beat Minnesota once in a while" lower.I’m not so sure anymore. My hope is that in 2 years Rhule gets lucky. Like real lucky and has a good year and fleas like he always does when he has success, because deep down the man knows he’s yellow. He can continue the con if he escapes when he’s on top. And yes someone is dumb enough to hire him even with the buyout if he wins 1 season. He’s a smooth talker and there’s a lot of idiot ADs
This!!! We are so out talented on the defensive line, we can’t play defense. Rhule is kidding himself if he thinks he can win with what he threw on the field this year. I absolutely do not understand how he let it happen. The defense needs to be completely flipped, they have no idea what they’re doing. They can’t tackle, they’re not big enough… they are just not good enough football players to be successful in this league. RVP got pushed at least 5 yards down the field multiple times. Rex is easily the worst safety in the Big Ten.
None.I'm hoping this will not turn too negative. What are we looking forward to for next year? Which position groups look good to very good?
The past has shown otherwiseMost players on our team can’t get any worse they were this year
Just a joke...but the OSU (and Michigan) fans are incredibly fickle...I suspect the OSU fans are calling for Ryan Day's firing today too. Maybe Nebraska could get him.I know people are all looking at Cignetti, but my expectations are (sadly) WAY lower. Like "let's beat Minnesota once in a while" lower.
You're right though. Matt the Hat just ain't it. No proof he can assemble a staff. No evidence he can win in the portal. No physical, tough culture. No depth and development, to the extent that still exists. The worst in-game coach in the nation, bar none. Says and does dumb **** on the regular. And gets kicked in the labia by every halfway decent team.
Yep, a joke. Day will be back with more will power to win a Natty than anyone in college football. He is going to hit the OL and DL coaches hard to find out why the Bucks were overmatched and put money in the pot to fix it. Miami owned the trenches.Just a joke...but the OSU (and Michigan) fans are incredibly fickle...I suspect the OSU fans are calling for Ryan Day's firing today too. Maybe Nebraska could get him.
"No physical, tough culture." I know this means nothing but if all the Big Ten Football Coaches had a round robin street fight could Matt the Hat beat any of his peers? I am thinking his only chance might be Cignetti. There would be a lot of posing and gesturing between the two, but no real body blows.I know people are all looking at Cignetti, but my expectations are (sadly) WAY lower. Like "let's beat Minnesota once in a while" lower.
