nutt didn't have to take the ole miss job...or any job. he walked away with 3.5mil wasn't it so he wasn't desperate for a new gig. boone had to approach him and sell him on coming to ole miss. points for boone. second cohen wanted to be at msu. that doesn't negate credit to byrne for offering him the job. its not like either guy moved into town and stole the keys to the locker room and started claiming to be head coach. IMO boone is not the greatest ad in history but i'm just amazed at the lengths some will go to in trying not to give him simple credit for the positive things he's done. i'm certainly willing to criticize him for his failures. but somehow debating the merits of boone on the msu sixpack board just seems....wrong so i'm leaving this one alone. LOL

I only come back and post on this hellhole once every couple of months, but I still have little pissants like you upset over my intellectual superiority. I'm sorry MagnoliaHunter for whatever argument(s) I beat the crap out of you at in the past to make you hate me so much.

Your friend,
Brutius

p.s. gonna leave my signature in just for you on this one!

The delusional Arkansas fans booted him at exactly the time you had reached the end of your rope with Orgeron. Few college coaches are coaching for the money (most BCS coaches who have been around for several years have more than enough to retire on). Nutt jumped at your job because he saw it as a direct slap at Arkansas and a chance to get revenge on them. He's a pretty good coach, but you can't argue thatdifferentcircumstances had to happen at the same time for you to get him.

right now is that he's not Greg Byrne. I thought the presser was ok, he said all the right things, I guess.

to think that you could be intellectually superior to anything higher up the chain than a cactus. You couldnt beat the crap out of any of the animals you have in the pics in a battle of wits. I dispise all libs that are ruining this country. </p>

As far as intelligence, I went to school on academic scholarship after scoring a 32 on the ACT,so me mispelling a word typed on a message board doesn't really bother me. Study history, it's a proven fact that as a country slides to liberalism, the whole country goes downhill. But then again, liberals have never been big on facts.

lucky nutt was available. the debate is whether boone deserves any "credit" for hiring him. obviously he does. under the circumstances i'm not suggesting we erect a monument to boone for it, but nutt didn't just show up begging and have to beat boone into submission to get the job. some fans (ole miss in this case but it can be seen in other groups too) refuse to give any credit to certain coaches, administrators that they don't like. one doesn't have to worship the ground a guy walks on to give both credit and blame where its due.

anyone on this board being more conservative (or classic liberal, if you will) than I am. But, come on folks, you can't run Brutius off the board -- he provides some good entertainment. Don't kill the golden goose. I get some rare insight into the liberal mind -- I mean, how many people do you encouter each day that are that damned wacked out with socialist views?

You questioned my intellect. I offered facts. Like all liberals, since you couldnt argue with facts, you started withinsults.

Yes I know you are referring to the guy with the $78k car.

****. Good stuff there. Actually, some people do care what they made. The "I don't care" crowd is disproportionately made up of people that did bad on their test. Not saying you did -- just statistically.

Think of it like a washed up old athlete thinks of that high school championship. The test score is like that for the internet message board geek crowd. Just a little sentimental hearkening to a simpler day. That's all.

that this whack job who can't put a complete sentence together without 3 misspelled words and calling people "retards" isn't going to "run me off the board". But I rarely post here or read the board anymore, it's kinda like congress noone is going to change their mind on any sports related topic here and the things being argued about today were being argued about 5 years ago by the same people.

p.s. I had max score on the old format ACT, and had a full scholarship, but Scott Stricklin got me kicked out of school.
