could be sports related - i really don't know. does anyone know what these oversized things are? i have a guess or two, but surely one of our nerds actually knows.

my first guess is that it's a container for eric richards's ***. huge.

I am on I55 from DeSoto Co to Panola Co all the time and have wanted to ask the same question, but couldn't describe what I was seeing. I really hope someone will give an honest answer to this.

there was a show on the discovery channel about big things, and these look like the base for the world's biggest windmills (though smaller). just wasn't sure.

It is the extra battery for Croom's old Golf cart and I swear I think I saw this thing plugged into an outlet near the practice fields sucking appr. $1.7 Million dollars worth of money out of this university and it's alum.....yep that's exactly what it is. A Big Bag of Wind Battery.....

you've never watched star trek, Data. You know good and damn well you've stood in front of your bathroom mirror and quoted some trekkie: "Captain, we've lost thrust in the forward nacelle." "Number One, you're with me." "Mr. Data, you have the comm."

I was selling industrial equipment on the coast. I made a cold call on a plant in Pensacola and there they were. Nothing really special about them, just a lot of fiberglass. They kinda look like huge roof top a/c units like what you would find on an R/V.

When we were in South Dakota a couple of years ago pheasant hunting we were driving back out to the little town we were staying in from Mitchell and we could see the rows and rows of red flashing lights marking where they were at night. It was freaky looking.

from the west going to Pensacola. There is a GE plant there where they take them to be refurbished. These wind turbines are huge and we see them regularly.

there were three of them in a convoy. the truck looked like it was pulling one normal trailer, with one end of the blade, and the other end of the blade was so far back, it had it's own trailer underneath it. they basically tried to block the entire interstate for them. i'd like to see them taking their exit.

as if houston traffic isn't bad enough already...
