Don't know why, but they creep me out or some reason. Regular, black crickets don't bother me in the least.

is a beautiful lake. You can scuba dive and see the town (where the church was) that was flooded to build the lake. Pretty cool.
It's been years since I've seen the movie. I would have never thought that Georgia was full of *** raping, toothless, back woods country (17)'s. I feel bad that I stereotyped Tennessee folks with this "Deliverance" reference. Thank you for the info. I will make sure that I stay well clear of the Chattooga River and the rest of North Georgia.
...and stopped by Perry's for lunch for old time's sake. I forgot that they have a lunch buffet during the summer & scale down the grill offerings. Nevertheless, I was jonesin' for a Perry's philly cheesesteak, so I mustered all of my courage & asked the Nazi if they still make 'em. She was busy trying to get the chromium oxide layer off of the grill surface, but when I asked, she snapped her head up and with a small trace of recognition & a slight smile, believe it or not, politely informed me that they still do occasionally, but not during buffet times. That response made my day knowing that I was no longer treated with disdain by the famous Grill Nazi of Perry Cafeteria.
