20 year remaster of this seminal indie album. Can still remember the first time I heard the stunning opening track, and then hearing the driving bass of Ageless Beauty and being hooked. 20 years? Shew. Time is a fickle thing.

There are several performances of this by Beck on Youtube. I think this is the best but they're all good. Good old durable r&b tune.
Still bingeing on The Cold Stares. One of those bands where the more I listen, the more I like them.

TRS is a great song. I've seen Trower twice, great shows, but both only lasted an hour. He does not play long, unfortunately.
SS has always been a great live act.

After the war, Django Reinhardt gravitated to the electric guitar. Fans of his work with The Quintet of the Hot Club of France usually disapprove, but Swing had had its day and Reinhardt wasn't done. This isn't Swing or Bebop or West Coast Cool. It's Django Reinhardt music. This is a fantastic collection. I hope someone here follows up and discovers it for themselves. And then, of course, goes back to Reinhardt's 30s music.
