Pasties? Freudian slip? Freudian nip? Here’s more: Alabama plays Western Illinois in late November. Every big-time team plays pasties. Some play them at the beginning of the year, the SEC tends to schedule them mid-or late-season.

Not the first time from me…Pasties? Freudian slip? Freudian nip?
Pretty sure Knowles ran a 4-2-5 at OSU too. So while it might help mask a light LB room, I don't think it's the REASON for it.
4-2-5 or 3-3-5 have essentially become the base defense for teams as everyone spends a significant amount of time in nickel to cover the 3 WR base set that most teams useI haven’t followed his career, so I don’t know what scheme he likes. If this is what he runs, it helps to hide our weak LB recruiting but it forces someone in the secondary to come up to support the run defense. That guy is likely undersized unless he is Ed Reid level of good. With OSU having 5 star guys at every position, my guess is you can run no scheme and win most of the games. They just held Texas to 7 points without him. I just hope our talent level works with the system.
I think Donkoh should be starting @ RT.I think Donkoh is the best between him, Rucci and Cousins. He is able to play guard but I don't think Rucci can play guard. Not sure how Rucci looked on Saturday but maybe Rucci comes off the bench at RT and we start Donkoh at RT and Cousins at RG.

And yet KLS only had 4 more receptions than Wallace did for us last year and Auburn didn’t have a player like Tyler Warren who had over 100 receptions.I think Harrison Wallace had about 120 yards in receiving for Old Miss. on Saturday. Also, against an inferior opponent. Is it going to be another KLS at Auburn year (KLS was Auburns best receiver last year). Only time will tell about these transfer portal receivers. We can speculate all we want, but until they play against Oregon, we will not know what we have. Nevada gave all throws underneath. Our receivers were wide open. You could have put any player in and run a 7 yard down and out and it was open. Let's see how they do against Oregon. If poorly then we need to be concerned. Our last very good wide receiver was Parker Washington. Before him Dotson. Recruiting at wide receiver has been mediocre in recent years. Thats not to say we don't have 1-2 who could develop into great players. Am I concerned- Yes. Hoping for the best.
You mean those that have 11 years of opportunities with nothing to show for it…that’s nearly every coach in D-1!Name the coaches who meet your criteria. Make sure they have a good record vs the top 5.
Nothing to show for it? Really? You mean those that have 11 years of opportunities with nothing to show for it…that’s nearly every coach in D-1!
You are a bitter old soul ..lighten up dude..I just make the observations based on a long time competing…don’t like it? Sorry."deserve a chance....." priceless. I'll bet that was your argument, when you were cut from the jv shadow boxing team.
