I was amazed that both Jurich and Pitino seemed almost distraught. And they found out about this back in late August and have had ample time to do opposition research into the story. It is clear to me that they know this is bad and about to get worse. Had this not been true....for one...they would have released it themselves and not allowed Forde to do it. They would have found a way to release it through their friendly media outlet the CJ. The CJ would have focused on getting out the info that discredited the Madam. So as media savvy as the propaganda machine at lil bro is....this has got to be true and headed worse.

I was driving into Louisville and I was listening to it on the radio and that's exactly what I thought. He sounded like he knew they were toast.
Don't get your hopes up. Pitino is going nowhere. Just as likely to get a raise and extension.

Rick Pitino is really getting frustrated with all these reporters asking questions about the hooker scandal. I don't think he can take much more.
My guess is that Rick interviewed all these ladies, personally, before he allowed recruits to meet them. You do not become a HOF coach without paying attention to detail. After all, he must be assured that these ladies are well instructed in "The Louisville Way". However, he may have misinterpreted the term, " contact period" when he was reviewing the NCAA manual. Probably learned this recruiting tactic from his buddy JB, during his time at Syacuse.
The way these kids know each other from their time on the AAU and Summer Ball circuit, it would be hard to keep this a secret. Heck, most teenage boys that went through an experience like this, would be hard pressed not to tell his friends at the earliest possible moment.
It wouldn't surprise me if players around the country knew about what was going on at UofL since it began.
Of course they gave it to Forde. Now he owes them (more than he already did). He'll pay it with kid gloves the rest of way. I expect you'll see he breaks a lot of stories, just before someone else has something good. His job is to deflate balloon and make sure all facts are spun Louisville's way from here out.
