While we have this sleazy crap going on at UL, we have the amazing stories going on last year about WCS and Marcus Lee helping sick kids, Cal preaching the religious lessons of servant leadership, stories about former players like John Wall making huge donations to charity and giving back to the less fortunate.
Now this year, stuff about Kenny Payne teaching Briscoe about becoming a better person and stopping the trash talk. Plus another group of absolutely great kids like Skal, Matthews, etc.
And yet Cal gets ripped by many rival fans as a cheater. Seriously, I don't know about his early years, but in the last few years at UK, I think there is no coach in the game that invests more into developing the character of his players than Cal.
