Only reason you are being sensitive and caring is because its a former star. If this was a drug addict homeless on the street , you'd be laughing at how stupid it was.
I never feel "bad" for people who OD, as they do it to themselves, but I also don't go out of my way to make fun of them. It's a sad situation that could/should have been avoided and may cost the guy his life. I can be empathetic for the situation without feeling bad for the guy.

Someone dying is never funny. There may be times when the death is necessary, but it still isn't funny.

Don't understand the relevance of the picture. The bow shock looks like a skirt. Or is that some reference to a Louisville mile high club?

I will say this, I doubt even UL could afford a ride on that lady.

This is an image of this aircraft breaking the sound barrier per my google search...Tubbys Tabbys mentioned breaking 100 pages is like breaking the sound barrier...

Yes, and they talk about Coach Cal as if he is absolute scum. Ohhh the irony.

Every time I meet one I'm floored at the ridiculous comments and how easy it is to destroy their arguments. I mean, like said in the East Tennessee thread, one told me they are a two sport school. They were 1-3 in football at the time.

I don't know how this can be made any more clear - Cal did not say he didn't think it happened. He said that he didn't think Rick knew, and he said he hoped that it didn't happen. Beyond that, he doesn't know more than the rest of us about the inner workings of the Louisville program - he's just showing how many miles he is above the cartoon that Louisville fans paint of him.

Yup, and great picture!!! I was being a smart *** and twisting an interpretation of the image to fit UL's hooker fetish.

The space shuttle used to produce the most incredibly shaped bow shock image. If you enjoy such things, I recommend a quick google for it. Just amazing something the size of a very tall building can be so dynamic as that.

I'm not surprised, Calipari is all class, he rarely ever goes negative.

Also, he didn't say he didn't believe it, he said he hoped it wasn't true. Again, typical classy behavior by a class act, a lesson the entire administration and athletic department at UL needs in a bad way.

Cal probably hopes it isn't true, because if Rick leaves, UL might hire a coach that could beat him more than once in a decade. [roll]

Have lived in or near Louisville most of my life, and actually have some great friends that are reasonable, good natured UL fans. Most of them were just raised cheering for the Cards, whereas many of us were born into blue bleeding families.

Unfortunately...by living here...we are regularly subjected to...well...

I'll have to check the shuttle shots. I've seen numerous fighter aircraft images but haven't checked out the shuttle.

Hey Petjurino! If your so confident nothing went on and nothing will happen then put your $$ where your mouth is. Bet you a $1,000 cash ramifications will occur over the scandal. We can meet up at Gene Snyder and Old Henry Rd to settle up. Bet?
Count me in for $500 ..This dweeb is on a rental laptop from Aarons moving from basement to basement

I work with a multitude of Louusville fans on a weekly basis. While most Louisville fans are idiots, the majority I work with are generally intelligent folk; or as intelligent as can be considering their poor decision making in fanhood (although most were born into into as most UK fans were; so I guess I can't blame them).

I had two of them today tell me, with real sincerity, that they truly believe 100% of all that has been reported is bogus. All made up by a money hungry *****. Nothing is even possibly true. They went on to say that Louisville is the class of the ACC; they run one of the most admirable programs in the country; and Pitino is an honest, caring man who would take a bullet for his players and assistants.

Can this be possible? This is what I asked myself? Would I repeat such moronic statements if his were UK and the tables were turned? I think not. Then I remembered listening to the Jim Jones tapes and the end of his Peoples Temple. It is possible to brainwash an entire group of people to be void of rational thought. I hope and pray this never happens to my children. Neither rooting for UL or following a lunatic into eternity.
ESCORTino is a dirtbag..end of discussion

There is one for starters. You get the normal skirt, another on the crew compartment, one on each of the OMS pods, one for each solid and one for the tail. There is not one for the external tank but that may have dissipated for that picture. That's not the most dramatic one I've seen but it should whet your appetite. I'll drop it for now as I'm getting us off topic and we don't want to jeopardize our 100 pages. I love aviation though.

For the 100,000 time. He's not a Louisville fan. He was very convincing for a long time though. He screwed up during the scandal and kind of let it out.

And if I'm wrong, this is the worst "fan" I've ever seen. Completely void of all logic and meaning. Completely sells his team out.

My guess is that Pitino knew the recruits were being shown a good time, but studiously avoided knowing the sordid details.

There's no way he knew there were underaged girls involved, as he's not stupid.

Quite the interesting double negative. The logically equivalent contrapositive very revealing: He is stupid so he knew there were under aged girls involved. Now that is truly amazing. I'm assuming you have this on the best authority.

And . . . You patent what? Not syllogisms, surely.

I don't think Pitino knew a whole lot, the way he set those things up was so that he wouldn't know, plausible deniability. Did he know that there could be something against the rules going on? Yes, but chose not to know what it might be. In the end, it was under his watch..

Steelers has probably read every post in this thread, the same for zipp

Steelers hasn't 'probably' read every post.... he 'most assuredly' has read every post. He only chirps when he has a way to make himself look good or smart and he only bets when the odds are in his favor, WAY in his favor. As for Zipp he's not worth the time it takes to type his name.

Zipp, lol. Lots of child hating women abusing losers in this world. It's no surprise he would look the other way. Steelers is just a POS who should be ignored. Best way to handle garbage like that.

An ordinary coach would have been thrown under the bus by now.

Pitino is no doubt a control freak like most great coaches. When a recruit visits the campus, I'm sure that he or an assistant knows where the recruit is at all times. That's why I'm pretty sure he knew that the recruits were being shown a good time. We know he's not a prude. There were probably plenty of winks and jokes among the inner circle. But this happens practically everywhere.

Did Pitino know that money was changing hands? Not impossible, but probably not. More likely that some manager in charge of entertainment arranged it with money from a booster because he was under pressure and didn't have enough connections with girls on campus.

No way Pitino was the source of the money or knew underage girls were involved. He's smart enough to know it could end his career and that he could be personally sued for any such involvement.
