He is still the best coach in the nation and he loves it here, loves who he works with and has accomplished, in his own way, as much as Tom or Ramsey in profiling and branding Louisville basketball - his job.
No one knows the worst that could happen - it leaves speculation open for all sorts of weirdness and extreme takes. (For that reason alone, it is useful to find out people's level of fearfulness and/or hubris.)......but aint nobody gettin' rid of Rick Pitino. And if we don't appreciate what he brings, count on our "elders" knowing what we have in that guy.
We have at least another 4-5 years with 3 of them being a superb chance to win it all. Hell, he's just getting started."

I was just trying to show how Zipp arrived at his conclusion, not trying to defend him. I didn't want to give him any reason to say something derogatory (again) about how stupid UK fans are that they can't even do basic math.
However, I didn't see any bashing of logic in the post I responded too either, so simmer down.

If they fire him the public outcry would be huge and bring more attention to this situation that is embarrassing for the university. So unless they prove Rick was letting Andre do this or knew about it I don't see them firing him.

I agree, I get too worked up during that game anyway. Humiliating them most years is fun, but every 5 years or so, they win, and I am miserable for a few days after. I may have a heart attack during that game as I get older LOL. I never wanna give them a chance to beat us, don't wanna listen to those idiots mouths. They wanted the game, We gave it to them, with both boot heels right to the nose. Let's end it now. We can still send them packing every 5-10 years, when the stars align, and we meet up in the tourney.
