When asked about the escorts Pitino responded with nonsense and bizarre behavior.

If you mean Cady, then that pretty much guarantees Matt will blow this thing open tomorrow
Tomorrow could be a really big day.

Cady will definitely have a sympathetic audience at KSR. Matt may be able to get him to dispel some of the Card fans' pet conspiracy theories.

Here's hoping.

I don't know - I took it as a guy that 1. was probably prompted he'd be asked about it before that plane landed in Italy 2. Made the most non-newsworthy response as possible while making sure he didn't get caught in a lie

"When the time comes to address that, I will."

If he was L1C4, he would have said "I don't remember any of that happening."

Was she referring to him denying the allegations or denied the fact he said anything? He might of spilled the beans to his mom in regards to the truth.

To back up the claims, the books supplies a screenshot of a conversation in which Powell’s daughter sent a photograph of herself wearing lingerie asking, “Hey you remember me from Louisville??” Blakeney, who is now a freshman at LSU, replied, “Yea I do wassup.”

The book’s co-author, Dick Cady, writes that the athlete’s mother denied her son ever stayed at the Louisville hotel where the events allegedly took place.

I wonder what Lyle told them because the Ohio State guy said they were told and are pretty confident that Lyle has nothing to worry about. which makes me feel a deal was struck

This makes perfect since to me. Why should he lie if the NCAA should tell him if he tells the truth nothing will happen to his eligibly.

Wow, really? That's not a lot for a high profile case like that....
Thought the same thing. I had my attorney fight one of my employees non compete clauses and he was at $395 an hour. Could of purchased a nice vehicle after it was all said and done. I believe the article said $225 and $200 for any other employees working on the case. I should of used him

Eric Crawford on twitter, LOL....

Eric Crawford ‏@ericcrawford 6m6 minutes ago

Per @jeffgreer_cj #Louisville is paying its attorney, Chuck Smrt, $200/hour. Which, I believe, was roughly Katina Powell’s rate #perspective

Wow, really? That's not a lot for a high profile case like that....

You have to keep in mind he also gets the free whores.

That also doesn't include what they are paying Scott Cox...bet it's a lot more than $200 per hour.

Oh, I don't doubt that one bit.

I think I remember reading that some of the attorneys that UNC retained for their scandal were billing at upwards of $900/hr.

It was never said they were made up. You tard fans are so desperate to hear what you want to hear that reality is twisted.

Recreated = made up. Otherwise they would have the texts and would not have to 'recreate' them. So 'genius' as you say, try selling that in court. And to your last sentence, just because someone is accused of something does not mean they are guilty. Just admit you are licking your chops hoping it is true.

I'm open to the idea that something went on with McGee and Powell. There is a grain of truth within everything. I'm not open to the idea that this story is 100% true when some of it has already been proven false. How much is true is yet to be seen. If any money was exchanged or if minors were offered then wipe the staff clean and give up the title. Sports fandom isn't something I use to mask insecurities. I watch it for entertainment. If the university supported some of these allegations then I'll just quit supporting them.

Recreated does not mean made up. It means remade as in it was already made once. Hell yes I hope it's all true. I'd put money down something comes out of it. I also believe the sex squad does everything in their power to cover up and hide everything they can. The only thing I can't wait to see is if you truly quit supporting them. You have been through enough depravity and still follow so color me skeptical.

Interesting, if he says some were recreated, that means SOME , not all. So by your own argument, there is evidence. The question is, which evidence is the original.

I don't agree with your definition of "recreated", although I think "recovered" would probably be a more appropriate term to use. Otherwise, I think you have a very reasonable take for a Card fan. I don't agree with it, but I think it is reasonable.

If I personally were a UL fan (shudder), I wouldn't have the pitchforks and torches out quite yet, but if the gist of these charges are confirmed, then I would be screaming for heads to roll. A complete overhaul of the entire athletics department would be in order.

I may be wrong, but talking to friends in Indy, these guys, Certified Fraud & Forensic Investigations, have some excellent technical resources.

They provide digital forensics, data imaging, and cell phone forensics. Thus they can pull data that may have been deleted but still remain in the root files. Think Clinton's emails.

Now if they pulled this data, it is not going to be in the same format as you see on your phone's screen in the text app.

The message could be there but it also would be surrounded by tons of code. Just like looking at one of your posts on here in html editor.

Thus, if this is the data they pulled, and this technology is used everyday, then they probably recreated it in a format the reader would recognize.

they had a forensic team recreate the text. cady said himself he was dubious when she said she had lost some of the text due to a virus but the forensic nerds were able to retrieve and recreate the lost messages. think of it like this. when zipp hears the cops at the door he is gonna start deleting the child porn on his computer. that doesn't mean that it's gone. they can go in there and retrieve the data and still arrest said pervert after he wiped his computer.

also, had a ul fan come up to me at work today and say "hey man, i looked into that ul thing you were telling me about and all they got is a photo of the girl with one of our players" i said "no, they have more than that. they have a pulitzer award winning investigative reporter who worked on the book and he took down police corruption in indianapolis and he's got text, journal entries that match up with when recruits were on campus, multiple pictures, wire transfers, and probably more they are holding for a FU in case ul tries to strong arm them"

he looked like luke skywalker when darth vader told him he was his father. it was glorious.

For demonstration purposes, let's say you cheated on your wife according to me. I say my evidence is texts messages some woman claims to have between you and her. All of a sudden she says her phone was wiped clean due to a phone virus (never heard of such) so I had her recreate the texts. Does that mean you cheated on your wife? Would anyone believe that from such a story now that biased fandom is taken out of it?

Also recreate = create = make up.
can you explain the picture of the ladies being in minardi hall ???

If CardFBfanatic told my wife I cheated on her then showed her a pic of a hooker sitting beside me with her hand on my crotch and all I'm doing is smiling and waving...... I think thats more than damning evidence and I'm going to be divorced soon after.
