Interesting too that if you listen to his press conference, he never once said that he knew nothing about this. He says he talked to several people around the program and THEY knew nothing about it.

Eventually the NCAA will take note of an individual person who is so egregious, so reckless, and who by his very sordid nature has likely brought repeated harm to young persons who have participated in NCAA sanctioned events, that the NCAA governing body will revoke any and everything he has ever been successfully involved in off their record books.

The sooner Rick Pitino gets the f'k out of this profession the better off it will be for all of us.

By the way, I suspect there is a very good reason Pitino was talking nice about McGee and talking about forgiving him and everything. He's counting on McGee to keep his mouth shut and cover for him.

If this becomes a federal investigation though (as it very well could) this could get ugly if they offer McGee immunity for fessing up about the source of the money.

ooeyville, gooyville, lewdville there's thousands of options for columnists this week. soon to be cardnulls. it's actually kind of sad from afar, even for a kentucky fan. this isn't an isolated fifteen seconds but a tale of cheating and immorality/unethical conduct on the level of total embarrassment for everyone who lives there, forget b-ball fans. turtleneck and three stacks are in the news all the time. people know who they are even if they don't care. and everyone in the northeast sports media knows pitino. it's obvious he will have to step down, and never coach a major college again, for fear of his of the court problems.

btw i never lived north of high street, and am not the typical ul hater. i always respected pitino for his 90's innovations and run here after our dark period, as those fwiw are still my favorite teams at uk. but it all looks different now. much like pitino' system which never hit overdrive at ul as the game changed. this is a major reason why i don't think of them as a threat. i still can't believe they won a title. a hof hits rock bottom.

We should probably consider establishing an emergency accountability process for Rafters, sort of like they do on some military bases and at power plants. Pack Pride should consider the same thing.

My wife has read the book on her Kindle and there is no way this did not happen or the pullitzer prize winner and the escort would be sued to the universe for defamation of character and slander.

In the first hour of this coming out there was a lot of talk about Rick Pitino saying something about murder while he was still on camera. Does anybody have any idea about the context of murder in the interview with Pitino

If any of you all have any song writing producing skills I think the following would be comic gold........Do a spoof of "me and bobby Mcgee" by Janis Joplin....you can do "Me and Andre McGee" from the voice of Madam Katina.

What board are you seeing that? Over at cardsillustrated I'm seeing mostly "uh oh, we're in trouble" posts. They pretty much know they are really going to look bad here and are fearing the worst. Most also believe this will be it for RP.
Hopefully the ACC kicks them out too so they can no longer say "we play in the best conference in the country and UK's wins are all against bad SEC competition." That would be a nice cherry on top.

If proved as it is alleged in the book, with LilBro having a Little Brothel in the Billy Minardi Gentlemens Club....then Pitino is without a doubt finished. He cannot survive this, the second sex scandal during his tenure. I am fairly sure he probably has month to come to grips with this fact but is waiting to see if they can come up with a Hail Mary. Lacking it....he's done.

Recruiting: It is toast for now. Will mom allow their son to go to visit a place like that? And worse..... if still with dad....allow hubby to become a Papa John.

Powell acknowledges up front, her three daughters were working with her. The oldest was 19 when Powell alleges the business with U of L started. The middle child was 17. The youngest was only 15.

This woman will probably end up in jail (like Sypher) for exploiting a minor and Pitino some how dodges a big bullet again.

This is like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one!

I can't imagine this not shaking the fan base at the foundation, with all of the scandals coming out. The Yum center deal, the Shelbyville rd campus deal with cash payment to Ramsey via instructed donation from the purchaser and now this gem. How could any decent human being align themselves with a University devoid any Morals.

Unless they can get some of the players and recruits to confirm the pictures and related content, from what I am reading nothing shows actual sexual contact just women with players. A he said, she said may go nowhere. Plus, it look predictable to me that they will throw this ex-coach under the bus and say he may have arranged some trysts that no one associated with the program (Pitino) was aware of it. Common sense doesn't apply in these cases just proof.

The photo is taken By a madam in the cardinal dorm of a player and an escort with the escorts hand on his crotch. That's damning enough. "We invited these hookers over to move furniture, I promise"??? What the hell do UL fans think sometimes?
