If the same thing had happened to me and my wife, I can tell you that our stories would definitely be different 25 years later. Memory is a funny thing. I would swear that I walked right back out. My wife could probably say that I stayed for an hour.
My point is that I don't find the inconsistencies all that unusual. And, if we want to point that out, we have to also point out that Wolfe can't even remember who told him the story. As JPS said, that seems a bit unbelievable too.

The best part is we could just be witnessing the first wave, with tsunamis to follow. I remember the Emery thing like it was yesterday. When they ask the kid at Ohio State and the kid from Seattle...guys who don't want to lose their eligibility...one of them will sing. Pitino made his bed...and Forde helped him pull up the sheets. Now they can sleep in it.

I can tell you one thing, Mr. Wildcat would of retired out of disgust if that happened so I highly doubt Pitino used hookers or went to strip clubs at UK
My guess is those guys will acknowledge the strippers but proclaim no knowledge of the sex. It won't quite be a smoking gun, but it will add even more credibility to the charges.

Guys that think @Petjurino isn't real do not live in Louisville. While I don't know this clown personally, many of guys like him exist and all too real. I deal with them everyday
