Doesn't matter if Rick knew or not, it's his program and must accept full accountability for everything happening on his watch. The Captain goes down with the ship, seeking a lifeboat now would be an act of cowardice.
Totally and completely 100% agree...and I'll enjoy seeing Rick sink. I haven't forgiven him for his self-serving decision in taking the UL job, showing total disdain for us.

When you post who rather than will Pitino step down, I realize you're trying to imply it's a foregone conclusion. But, it's not. Pitino got away with having sex in a restaurant. They hired Petrino after a scandal. Louisville truly values winning that much.

There's a chance he winds up out. But, I wouldn't put money on it.

Dont blame Pitino for that as much as the UK brass. Tubby was supposed to be swayed into taking another job and Pitino coming to UK but Tubby and the people backing UK chickened out . Pitino then felt betrayed .. This info was basically just passed from Pitino to his friend then to a UL alum that I know.. Its a chain I'm 100% certain of.

but thats moot now. I'm 1000000000000000 prayers behind in thanking God Pitino went to UL instead of here. I better get started now.... Dear god, thank you for all your miracles!

how Pitino's life could have been different had he stayed at UK
Success is a Choice.......he should have read his own book

i have always felt like the reason Pitino took the UL job was to get back in the state of Kentucky
his mistake was in his arrogance thinking that most UK fans would follow him to UL
a coach at UK is part of the program, he is not bigger than the program
Cal understands this, Pitino did not

Rick was good while he was here, but I'm so glad we didn't have him later..as I've said before..we would have fired him if he put in the same performance he had at uofl his first 7 yrs and then combine that with the Sypher ordeal. He didnt really do anything at UofL until Cal got here.

I don't think that would've happened. While it's hard to guess what a different future would look like, I've always thought Coach Pitino would've been more successful than Coach K if he had stayed at UK. In fact, I've always thought we would be much closer to UCLA in titles, too.

Coach Pitino at UK and Rick at UL have always been different people to me and they always will be. I just hope BBN will welcome Coach Pitino when he finally does retire. This is his home, not UL.

thinking of a few things that have come from interviews with Pitino and the interview with Ramsey (sp?)
on the first day Pitino said that they told him "do not have contact with anyone concerning this case"
a letter from Ramsey praises Jurich and does not mention Pitino
today Pitino does an interview with Meiners and is very upset that his name was not mentioned in the letter
and he once again mentions that he is not allowed to question anyone
they have taken him completely out of the loop (basically told him to stand in the corner)

is this telling us that it is the beginning of the end for Pitino?

A month before basketball starts. Well, at least Slick will have an excuse, so long as he has a team. Can you imagine trying to recruit for UL now? UL is done so long as people perceive them to be dirty. I don't know how anyone connected to the current roger am could keep their jobs. Then Slick can move back to New York and live out ha life as an outcast.

Yes, you are correct. When the Bag-Man is revealed head's will roll.

Laugh my @ss off at Rick Pitino to choose now as the time to acknowledge conditions indicating that he actually has an employer.

Nope. He gave up that honor when he just up and left us then made it worse by making a fool of himself, yet again.

After taking in the initial Louisville spin, one thing jumps out, they are all now using the word stripper to supplant the word escort or prostitute. That is why I am guiltily taking personal satisfaction in this Cardinals debacle, they have bullied the media, consistently lied, and window dressed all of their deceit in the past. And while they've stamped out all of their past fires, not this one, it will be a blaze.

My guess is the money was coming from the Louisville Foundation. They have already hired lawyers without being mentioned in the scandal. Why would they need lawyers unless they were involved?

Man reading the Louisville forums. Kerry Rhodes really has his head twisted. So many of them do. Rich Bozich posted an article that suggest post Karen Sypher, mediocre recruiting classes and record and the competition from Cal drove Pitino to do this and they're suggesting Paula Dean is a Hoosier guy and he's in on the conspiracy :joy:

I would assume those lawyers are for the investigation into President Ramseys compensation package.

Actually sad that they pushed out ole Denny to bring in our leftovers who has ran their program into a whorehouse.

Just for pure comedy I'd like Pitino to stay. You know his classes are gonna suck for years because of this...and I don't mean the good kind of sucking.

But, his classes sucked for years (no pun intended) with the sex.......

What would they look like without the toot?

They love BBG's and sexting!

I could actually see Pearl getting the Louisville job.

Louisville fans have to admit, they are a win at all cost program. I mean, UK has rejected, factually rejected, one of their current coaches. Jurich needs to find a company somewhere and CEO the **** out of things. Leave the universities to do what they're intended to do, keep young adults away from bad influences like their athletic staff.

The funniest thing of this is Billy Reid saying that someone could have stole Mcgee's phone and sent the text messages. Really? 4000 texts? I've heard it all. You do the crime you do the time.
Too much alcohol is not good for some people.
