Oh, and of course Louisville will not be punished like they should. Pitino "may" get a suspension and they have a final 4 team this year. Why cant the NCAA get anything right?!

I also find it hilarious that one of the defenses Louisville is using is that recruits were generally turned off this behavior and chose other schools.

Yet MEGATREZ had sex on his visit and while a player while contributing to a National Title. It is well known Terry Rozier also was a member of these parties.

Recruits didn't like the behavior yet two of Louisville's biggest NBA star's apparently loved it.

I have no doubts it happens and I hope they get slammed but I'm not naive enough to think this doesn't occur everywhere. Some are just better at hiding it.

Yeah and everyone does drugs too. Some just hide it better than others. EVERYONE does it. Sounds like my teenagers talked when they were in high school. After getting them to name names and count it was way less than 10% but everywhere sounds a lot more convincing...[eyeroll]

If they get caught speeding, they should tell the cop "everyone does it so i take no responsibility for my ticket".

How many days before the ul minions acknowledge this and start calling that recruit a liar? Even though their school admits it now, some still want to say there were no sex acts. MUST>>>NOT>>>>GIVE IN>>>> TO THE TRUTH>>>>MUCH HOLD >>>>STRONG ON AGENDA>>>>>

UL fans live by the old George Costanza philosophy, "It's not a lie if you believe it".

"The report then goes on to report an alleged sexual assault by this security guard, who was the subject of an incident report — though that report was not among those provided to WDRB when the station filed an open records request for incident reports from the building last year".
I'm glad they hire responsible people to watch out for their players. The more I hear about this story, the more astonishing it becomes.

Yea, the cameras just happened to be malfunctioning whenever the whores were making their booty calls.....how convenient. I wonder how much hush money Jurich has dropped on this stripper party??
The response says, “A cursory review of those Reports shows that the security guard frequently noted that some of the security cameras were not working. It appears that malfunctioning security cameras was a frequent problem in 2013 and 2014. Thus, one of the front-line mechanisms for monitoring Minardi Hall was not fully functioning during the period of McGee's illicit activities.”

They must think people are stupid enough to believe this. If I were the NCAA I'd drop the hammer on them for even trying the "malfunctioning security camera" bullcrap. They either lied and destroyed the evidence, or it was intentionally disabled. I'm going with lied and destroyed, because anyone who would bring professional ho's to a kid's dorm doesn't seem smart enough to take precautions.

I just can't see how they keep that title. I really can't. The defense that recruits actually didn't come here because of this makes me laugh non stop. You have to remember, these are 18 year kids who future, in their minds, have a professional career in the pros. They don't want to risk that by saying this might have lured them there.

So the ones that didn't go to UL have an easy out. They don't have to worry about their families looking down on them so they get to report this actually kept them away. The truth, as most people know, is hostesses on recruiting trips have been showing recruits a good time at campuses all over the country. UL took it a step further by actually hiring strippers in the dorm.

“the only conclusion that can be drawn is that McGee arranged the dances, offers and sexual activity to assist in the University’s recruiting efforts. However, the University does not believe these dances or sexual activities greatly assisted its recruiting efforts.”

Just because you don't think it helped in your recruiting doesn't make it any less repulsive.....UOLOLOLOL!

How about the donkey show? Did that help with recruiting efforts?

Recruits, players as well as PARENT AND GUARDIANS had sex with Katina and her girls. Wow. This tops them all. No scandel in sports history is this lewd. I am sure those parents are involved in keeping this swept under the carpet. Unreal!

Yeah, great logic. Comparing drugs to the shady world of college athletics.

Take off the blinders for a second and realize how scummy college athletics really are. Have you been around major college sports as a student or employee? All kinds of crap goes down. Tutors writing papers for athletes that are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, getting discounts at malls, getting to borrow cars, etc.

AAU is super shady so let's stop pretending that no shenanigans are occurring in some capacity. Obviously it may not as bad or as insane as UNC or as dirty as Louisville.

UL and UNC are both so arrogant they don't even try to hide it. But when your fan base is on meth what is there to hide.

They both deserve their comeuppance, UNC more so considering Louisville at least banned itself for one postseason. UNC has faced no consequences and it's the worst academic scandal ever.

When I meant "hide it," I meant it won't necessarily be directly connected with a coaching staff. There's so many round about ways to have plausible deniability.

Get out the popcorn......AND HOOKERS.
What a farce the UL investigation was. First, UL says that the security guard "would usually be asleep at the door", but moments later UL's report states that the same security guard "who worked at Minardi may have been willing to overlook strippers". Which is it, UL - asleep, or wide awake and overlooking the hookers because they gave him a little knob polishing in the janitor's closet as an entry "fee"?

Attempted robbery isn't actually robbing someone, but it's still a crime. Louisville fans struggle with that concept.

I know it's been stated multiple times, but it's just unreal that Zipp and others are saying, "what does everyone not understand about it wasn't a recruiting advantage?"

It is just unbelievable that any adult could subscribe to that asinine (or is it spelled threeintheass?) logic.

Zipp is a walking-talking rectum with venereal disease.

The cheating, toxic dump known as UL basketball is going down. And their Baghdad Bob denial isn't going to sit well with the NCAA.
I hope you're right. But no allegation of lack of institutional control. No allegation of failure to monitor. No allegation of failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance.

So I'm not holding my breath. My guess is Pitino gets slapped with a 9 game suspension, and that's it.

I have no idea where the NCAA will end up on this, but penalties like vacating wins/titles do not require the allegations that you mentioned were missing.

And the fact that they're missing should not be taken as an indication that the NCAA intends to go light on UL. It simply means the facts of the case didn't support allegations of lack of institutional control, etc.
