What color helmets are we wearing next week?

Inquiring minds want to know. I'm sure that Stricklin is burning the midnight oil about a new outfit to wear instead of caring about the performance of our football program

I'm so sick of these new 1 game helmets and uniforms. The maroon helmets are back and i'm glad, but the changing every other game is no point. Stricklin and company needs to put there minds on putting up wins than having a uniform for every other game. Just stick with ONE logo and uniform and helmet...

You're 17n retarded if you think that Stricklin spends time thinking about what we will wear. You're also really dumb if you think what we wear affects how we play. Alabama could wear rainbow colored uniforms and they would still win. Shut your mouth.

It was sarcasm. Try keeping up. I think that the gimmicks are getting old with the fanbase. Many people agree. I know that the uniforms don't decide if we win or not. A big reason for them is for excitement for players and recruits. Our recruiting is currently at the bottom of the conference. Mission: Failed.

Tell me what is factual about your thesis that what we wear affects how we play. Or rather how Scott Stricklin spends his time affects the play of our football team.

based on our play, im not sure we have much of a choice. make koenning and collins wear them too. if we are going to play like giant pussies, we might as well look like em too.

The gimmicks are wearing thin with the fanbase.

We are not recruiting at a high level (or as high as our in-state rival) due to philosophy or inept compliance department.

The uniform combinations are to get the fans and recruits excited. Usually, we get our *** handed to us when we do something weird with them. (Snow bowl last year, egg bowl last year, etc.) I still don't think we've won a hoops game in black. Do I think they cause us to lose? No. But if the trend continues, I'll have to start believing it.

Here's a real trend for you. We lose to teams that would generally whip our *** regardless of what we wear. And Ole Miss' recruiting class last year was sits on a THRONE OF LIES(/cheating).

Ole miss' recruiting class was perfectly legal, and absolutely nothing will happen to them.. I mean you can convince yourself of whatever you want.. but the ncaa is never going to do anything to them.

Regardless we need to get better, and someone needs to be held responsible for our play calling over the last 7 games.

The uniforms have become pathetic, and Stricklin likes to take credit for them so I think he deserves to get blasted.

We don't lose because of jerseys and believing we do is retarded, but losing in an Ed Hardy helmet with "book mark" compression shirts makes it 10x's worse. Just wear our ******* school jerseys with our ******* logos on them in our ******* colors we've been wearing for 100+ years. Why is this such a complicated thing to understand... that teams wear the same thing every year for every game? The ONLY school that can change uniforms is Oregon and it's because one of their alumni became the founder of the #1 athletic clothing company in the world and helped make them one of the best in the country by giving their programs more money than we could ever imagine. That's a valid exception.

Remember those fugly uniforms Oregon had like 10 years ago when Miller was QB? They still out-recruited us. No one cares about jerseys, and every school (especially MSU for some reason) now thinks if they act like Oregon and bedazzle their uniforms every other game they can get the same kind of results trying to convince 17 year olds to sign a legal document to attend their university.

Bailey Howell's son-in-law better be figuring out ............................................................................

how to hold onto what little excitement may be left about this football program.
