he talked about the financial hardships the University has overcome because of budget cuts, student recruitment, his kids "hate ole miss," that kind of stuff. good spill by Keenum, though. he's got the University sittin right in the water and goin full steam ahead despite the economy.

Dr. Keenum did give a little extra detail on Byrne. He said several times that he considered the A.D. job VERY important and was going to do a national search to find a similar A.D. to Byrne. Proactive, energetic, etc.

He gave me confidence that we would be content with the selection.
