Well well well. Seems we have some playoff qualifiers and some that are playoff stalwarts that may be in trouble. Can’t help but love this time of year.......

Here we go for week 6.

1- That this is not your fathers, mothers, uncles, brothers, cousins - meh you get it, not the same Loyola.
2 - That 8A goes through the Beast.
3 - That we have our first set of qualifiers for the playoffs.
4 - That Barrington is missing and not sure where they went.
5 - That this weeks “Its not over til it’s over” award goes to Hoffman Estates - but those all orange unis? Meh
6 - That it was pretty cool watching two former Illinois HS standouts Star under the college football lights last night. We see you Tuf and Julian.
7 - That the WSC Silver will come down to Hinsdale hosting GBW in two weeks.
8 - That NSC will be decided in the next two weeks in Gurnee.
9 - That while people in Indiana are going around stealing copper wires, there’s never been a doubt that the writer of this thread has his wires crossed, or at least misplaced.
10 - That I’m loving these weekly conf prediction threads - give me more please.

On to week 7 playoffs 4 weeks away!

Using last week's Sun-Times rankings on the Friday and Saturday scores:
  1. Seven of the Top Ten teams won with point totals averaging 46.4 pts.
  2. Seven of the teams in positions #11-25 won averaging 49.5 points.
That seems like a lot of points for the weekend!

That Immaculate Conception hates Aurora schools and covers gaudy, outrageous spreads.

Gambletron - [2018] Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL) 41, [2018] Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL) 3
Result - 44-0 (covers 38 points)

Gambletron - [2018] Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL) 62, [2018] Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) 0
Result - 64-0 (covers 62 points)

Marmion should be thankful they don't have to play IC.

Next up - IC @ St. Ed's. Can IC cover 58 this week?
[2018] Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL) 58, [2018] St. Edward (Elgin,) 0

That Burbank Illinois should be home to a 6-0 team & a 5-1 team.Instead one of those teams will be lucky to get in the playoffs & the other won’t even make the Prep Bowl Playoffs.Exit Coach Z & Enter Frank Legend

Yeah totally unfair....extremely young team in St. Laurence and they will be a tough team to watch the next few years for sure....
