Spoke too soon. I was saying the same thing early because I picked Tennessee in my suicide pool and was starting to worry.

Actually didn't watch most of the game.

Just hadn't thought about VT in awhile and the game tonight kind of reminded me of their existence.

Just hadn't thought about VT in awhile and the game tonight kind of reminded me of their existence.

VT went up 14-0 early and was rolling. Looked good. Then TN put down the preseason magazines and started to play.

VT just doesn't seem right without Beemer.

THIS. If I were a betting man, I'd be betting against VT consistently for the next couple of years. Programs that lose a legendary coach all fade. Maybe not in the first year as much, but it happens to all programs.

They had already faded under Beamer.
