UCLA has played remarkably tough against Gonzaga in the first half but the real question is:
Can the 4th place team in the Pac-12, and 11 seed, have enough gas in the tank in the 4th quarter to keep up against the unbeaten 1 seed?
The Trojans have been admirable, but were starting to sag a little late in the 1st half.
UCLA certainly looks like it could beat Houston, too.
But Gonzaga? We’ll see. Stay tuned.
After all, UCLA lost by 15 to San Diego State, 7 to Ohio State, 1 to Stanford, 18 and 1 to Southern Cal, 8 to Washington State, 9 to Colorado, 8 to Oregon, 4 to Oregon State.
Not one team in Gonzaga's class this season.
Those numbers don’t engender long-term confidence. Jump on me if you want if UCLA loses, but it's the numbers' fault, not mine.
