What do the numbers say about UCLA's chances in the 2nd half?

UCLA has played remarkably tough against Gonzaga in the first half but the real question is:

Can the 4th place team in the Pac-12, and 11 seed, have enough gas in the tank in the 4th quarter to keep up against the unbeaten 1 seed?

The Trojans have been admirable, but were starting to sag a little late in the 1st half.

UCLA certainly looks like it could beat Houston, too.

But Gonzaga? We’ll see. Stay tuned.

After all, UCLA lost by 15 to San Diego State, 7 to Ohio State, 1 to Stanford, 18 and 1 to Southern Cal, 8 to Washington State, 9 to Colorado, 8 to Oregon, 4 to Oregon State.

Not one team in Gonzaga's class this season.

Those numbers don’t engender long-term confidence. Jump on me if you want if UCLA loses, but it's the numbers' fault, not mine.

According to all the crap you spew it means. Wvu lost by 5 so if they played UCLA then the Mountaineers would be national champs.

Needs to Watch the game instead of playing with the numbers.

Never going to learn basketball looking at the numbers.
This isn't baseball....

Basketball is a game you have to watch

I do both. But UCLA survived by eyeball tests and the numbers. Fantastic game!

Well, UCLA certainly did NOT run out of gas in the most incredible game of March Madness and lost to Gonzaga on a 3-point shot at the buzzer by Suggs, who had barely crossed the half line when he let loose with the ball in overtime!

My hat's off to the Trojans, who easily surpassed West Virginia as the team this season that gave undefeated Gonzaga its toughest game.

Now I can't wait for the matchup between Gonzaga and Baylor, #1 and #2 in the country for nearly all of the season. But it would be hard to beat what we just witnessed in the Final Four overtime game! It was everything that March Madness is all about!

Except that, in the end, the 2 teams that most experts thought would be in the Final Game ARE in the Final Game.

But a lot of Cinderellas had fun at the ball(game) till their carriages turned into pumpkins at the final buzzer!

No wonder I have enjoyed THIS March Madness to much! Welcome relief from the COVID masks, stay-home, avoid-crowds. It also proved that you don't need 20,000 people in the stands for an OT game to be exciting!

After all the shouting, though, the 2 teams that experts thought would in the title game ARE in the title game. But UCLA came thisdamnclose to making that NOT happen.

I immediately began to feel sorry for the UCLA players. But that's the way I'm built, full of empathy.

Hot damn, what an overtime game!

Hey, CFE, UCLA is the Bruins. Trojans are something else. And now WVU is a footnote as UCLA displaced them by coming closer to beating the Zags, in overtime no less

Great reporting skills. When did UCLA change their mascot to the Trojans? Did USC get mad about or did they trade names?

Since I've only "been" with 2 ladies in my life I think I have been careful. One is in Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls waiting for me to join her under a double grave marker with "WV" under her name and my name. I'll be the happiest man in the cemetery. Never had a STD in my life, either, by the way.

Better stay away from Karen Key Largo. She still hangs around there at times.
She has a weird obsession with men from West VA.

BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LOCUSTWV, A FRIENDLY, UNLIKE YOU.

Oh I forgot something last night meanie..........Ho hum chalk up another pick in my win column. That makes 10 out of 14 since you challenged me you babbling idiot. So for my final act I must admit the Title game is a tough call even for a very knowledgeable person like me. My head says Baylor is a bit better. My gut says Zaga is a team of destiny. History says no way for undeafeated Zaga. My eyes say teams are equal. This is tough. My head says Baylor has a few more athletes and have played in a significantly better conference so in a very close call I’m going with Baylor.
