I do both. But UCLA survived by eyeball tests and the numbers. Fantastic game! Well, UCLA certainly did NOT run out of gas in the most incredible game of March Madness and lost to Gonzaga on a 3-point shot at the buzzer by Suggs, who had barely crossed the half line when he let loose with the ball in overtime! My hat's off to the Trojans, who easily surpassed West Virginia as the team this season that gave undefeated Gonzaga its toughest game. Now I can't wait for the matchup between Gonzaga and Baylor, #1 and #2 in the country for nearly all of the season. But it would be hard to beat what we just witnessed in the Final Four overtime game! It was everything that March Madness is all about! Except that, in the end, the 2 teams that most experts thought would be in the Final Game ARE in the Final Game. But a lot of Cinderellas had fun at the ball(game) till their carriages turned into pumpkins at the final buzzer! No wonder I have enjoyed THIS March Madness to much! Welcome relief from the COVID masks, stay-home, avoid-crowds. It also proved that you don't need 20,000 people in the stands for an OT game to be exciting! After all the shouting, though, the 2 teams that experts thought would in the title game ARE in the title game. But UCLA came thisdamnclose to making that NOT happen. I immediately began to feel sorry for the UCLA players. But that's the way I'm built, full of empathy. Hot damn, what an overtime game!
