by 3, get decent special teams play, pressure Nick Stephens in only his 2nd start, pick up enough first downs to shift the field, and catch virtually every break/bounce.

I say this with the understanding that we are not going to be able to move the ball significantly enough to score, we aren't going to get great special teams play, and we likely aren't going to go another entire game without a coaching blunder.

Avoid the big play and feed Dixon/Ducre. We went toe-to-toe with them last year when they were a better team with a better QB granted it was at our house. Then the middle opened up for them and it was a long drive home.

that they can actually go up there and compete?

Unfortunately, this game has all of the earmarks of a phone in special, just like Ga. Tech.

Get the offense to equal the LSU performance and get a better performance from the defense. UT is in bad shape but their talent will be better than Vandy's, on both sides of the ball.

GT is better than UT. I've said that GT is an average team, but UT is below average.

I doubt we phone this one in after we played so well on Sat. I expect us to come in to the game with confidence. Will that translate into a win? We'll find out Sat., but I feel pretty confident in saying that we won't get beat 38-7 and look like chumps in the process.

Don't turn it over. Play field position football, and wait for Tennessee to shoot themselves in the foot.

This would be one time when it would pay to play super-conservative. Tennessee will give you the game if you don't give it to them first. You just have to make sure you get out of their way, and they'll take care of the win for you.

McAdams that can punt for 40 yards shows up as opposed to the one that punts for 4.

Oh... and give Lee at least 3-4 seconds before being Kevin Fant-ed by the UT pass rush.

they have only scored 20 points against 2 of the 4 BCS schools they've played--us and Duke. I think they are probably about like TN.

UT's defense is very good and their offense is improving with the new QB. This will be a very tough game for us. I think we lose by 2 touchdowns.

Just protect the ball and wait for Tennessee to make the first mistake and capatilize. Its inevitable, Foster will fumble the ball at some timely moment.

Don't give up the ball, get turnovers, play great defense, and win the field position battle.</p>

If our defense scores seven we will win 13 to 9. Other than that I think that their offense will score three more points than ours.

1. Don't shoot ourself on special teams
2. Win the turnover margin
3. Complete enough passes to open the running game
4. Feed Dixon

if you dont want to have a remark like mine to your question, then try to rethink how you ask the question. Maybe say something like "what should our strategy be this weekend?". not how do we win the game. you win games by scoring more points than the other team.
