What do y'all think about Lamont?

I think there’s a good chance we’ll be moving on from Lamont in about 4 months.
I said last year he should've been fired. This year will be no different. Unfortunately, we have to put up with the 1/2 of the fan base who's in favor of participation trophies and obvious failures. That 1/2 of the fan base is precisely why we can't have nice things at South Carolina. They accept and cheer for mediocrity.

His recruiting has been an upgrade from Martin. His portal recruiting has been weak. I'll wait and see how the season plays out. If he loses 20 games again he won't be back and shouldn't be back.

I'm wondering how you can't build a competitive team in one year in college basketball these days. I also see how veteran leadership is starting to play a role. Maybe we don't really care about MBB?!?

I’m still trying to figure out our floor identity, seems like it changes every game; I know who I’d have as starters and it’s not who he’s been starting. Other than that I’m good with him.

Don't know yet. If he starts winning and we improve I'd give him another year, if we finish at the bottom again we will be looking for another coach for next year.
