i hate when some one claims I damaged their car it is like almost guaranteed to end up in to a heated argument
You need to move my friendDriving 150mi round trip every day to go to work
Yeah, running something for 10 minutes then declaring it ready for production has to be rough.I work in engineering and automation for a manufacturing facility. I’m paid to beat stupid and I will retire with a loss. We advance and just create better idiots.
That is a dream job and Mother Earth is thankful for your dedicationI'm a travelling farmer. The worst part of my job is tasting the cow patties to make sure their diet is rich in organic gluten free cow grain
You shouldn’t of burned down innotek, gleI thought when we moved into our new building with the "open" office environment a few months ago that the worst thing I would hate was thinking I was sitting in the middle of a casino trying to work. Don't get me wrong, I do feel like that and I'm about ready to kick the crap out of the next person that has a conversation 2 feet behind me while I'm trying to work. That being said, it isn't the worst part of it. The part I really hate is the white noise they have pumped in that sounds like a cat hissing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Unless they let me work from home I won't be there much longer because of it. If I ever have an interview and I drive up and can tell the building is the open office environment, I won't even go in and accept the interview.
I hate how the bonuses always jump me into a higher tax bracket. It’s also hard to use all of my vacation time.
Same here. 2 pay raises since last July, which I'm very thankful for. Plenty vacation time and sick leave (over 4 months) saved. Great work environment. No more "grant me or so-and-so network permission for access or you will die" threats from certain demented managers outside my department. Life is great.I hate how the bonuses always jump me into a higher tax bracket. It’s also hard to use all of my vacation time.

See ya soon out in Sin City.
I wonder what the security guy hates most about his jobThat even though I work for a multi billion dollar company, the number one thing the jackhole that runs the building i work in worries about is if you're holding the damn handrail when you go up the steps. Seriously, this idiot has security people sitting at the top of the stairs sometimes making notes about how many people are holding the handrail. It's like being in freaking kindergarden.
Yup. Go into the office expecting to complete A, B and C and instead have to address X, Y and Z. Daily occurrence.IT is constantly moving. As an IT engineer I never have a day where I can just go into the job and be like "i have these things to do and I know exactly how to do them"
No. I get there and it's like.. Ok these things are broken and we have no idea how to fix them.
We get it done. You read up on it. You tinker with it. You hit with a wrench until it works. But man.. That weighs on you after a while. I'm envious of jobs that have a portion of monotony to them.
