What do you think the conversations between Cecil and Cam are like right now? Maybe
it is just because my kids are getting to the ages where they begin to realize that, as their father, I am not perfect and they will promptly call me out on things....even "little things" like doing 78 on the interstate, etc. I have been thinking alot about what the conversations between these two are like right now in the heat of all this. I guess it really depends on if Cam was truly in on the whole deal to begin with and knew what was happening---I honestly think this is the case. But just assume for a moment that he had no idea......now his "Preacher" dad has admitted to shopping him around and they are now running/hiding instead of coming clean---not exactly what my Bible says to do. I just can't imagine the feeling Cecil is having if now that he has lost all the respect that his son ever had for him. Again, I think they were both very much in on the deal from the beginning but I still think there has to be an incredible amount of shame and not much eye contact when they are together.
