He's the butt of a lot of jokes here in Texas. There were a lot of expectations for him after his performance inthe NC game, but he'sbeen adisappointment.Also, let us not forget he led Texas, a team that competed in the National Championship to its first losing season in 13 years and could only muster 18 ppg against BCS opponents.

18 ppg will win you games in the SEC, but we're talking about the Big 12 where the winner of just about every game runs in the high 30's to low 50's range.

You have to divide by three to translate Big 12 to SEC points.

So, 18 ppg B12 = 6 ppg SEC.

That's what you're looking at. A presumed starter turnedthird stringer.

He didn't really impress me much in the Rose Bowl. If that was his best game, I'm really not impressed. I imagine he gets some sympathy credit for his performance in that game, because we wasn't very good.
