Just for the heck of it let's say that UK had a good or above average coaching staff. What do you honestly think our record would be at this point in the season? Auburn was down as well as Georgia and Ole Miss when we played them and we should/could have won the Florida game.
I guess my question really is, do you think with good all around coaching this years team could have ended the season at 9-3 ,10-2 or maybe even 11-1?

We would be 6-4 right now with a terrific shot at 8-4 and a nice NYD bowl game. Should have won the Vandy game pretty easily, and honestly, had the ball with 2 minutes to go at home against Florida and Auburn, should have scored in at least one of those games. Honestly, although we made Miss State seem like the NE Patriots, they lost 15 starters from last year's team and have been held to < 20 points in four SEC games. Hard to understand a four TD beatdown like we took in Starkville. I would be thrilled with 6-6 right now, but think Louisville wins comfortably . . . again.

I like this coaching staff and support them 100%. have they made mistakes, sure they have! But the bottom line is the coaches don't play the game. Maybe they are not able to motivate these players, I really don't know. To me, the bottom line is this process could take another 2 to 3 years. I hate losing what I call the annual battle for the basement. but those days are coming to an end. There are way too many factors to just lump the blame on the coaching staff, although some of the blame has to lie with them. Just not the total blame.

Good lord... tell me you don't watch the games so I can muster a sliver of respect for your intelligence.

We would be 4-6

Only game I didnt see happening this year was the win over south carolina. Other than that, I'm not too surprised. I said earlier in the year that Vandy was an improved team.
