I know that they say sometimes it takes 2 years to heal. I hope this is the case becuase he is not there yet.

Thats what I mainly think it is. I don't think he's 100% confident in his cutback ability yet, which will translate to being scared to run full speed in case you have to cutback. I think he will be alright though. He had a few bright moments this year. I would hate for him to be a bust, because he will be the only runner with any SEC experience on the team next year. Unless you count Newton...

Probably nothing wrong with his mechanics and he did a decent job in the Egg Bowl of gaining some yards. He just needs to learn to be a winner. Until then, he's just still one of those Croom guys who can't pick his head up and give all his heart to Mullen's game.

I think he can be pretty good. But the reality is he is not going to be a Dixon or a Norwood. That may make him a bust or whatever, but I still think he can and will be effective for us in the future. I don't think he will have to carry the load like Dixon or Norwood, so I don't think he will have the stats like they did. I also think we will pass more next year with Russell or Newton, and that will hurt his stats as well.

That said, I still think he will be pretty good for us- remember he is only a So. - and I think with Ballard, Conner, and Perkins in the fold, we will be pretty solid. We are not going to be able to replace Dixon next year. But, I do think that the group of RB's we have can help ease the loss.

Play exactly how he played the last few games of the year and I think he'll start. He ran well against ARK and UM and had a good run against Bama....it's more than likely confidence. Another year to work on his knee and he should be fine next year. He'll know that he's in posistion to be the starting RB so I bet he works hard. I predict he will be the starting back with Conner #2 on the depth chart.

He is fine as long as he is running straight ahead. He had most of his success on the dive play where there are few cut backs. We now have coaches that know how to use our talents.

Seems too easily brought down.
He is too easily brought down but we tend to compare him to Anthony Dixon who had more ability to break tackles than most any back that has played at MSU.
