What does the board think of a Bowden/Bowden staff?

I speaking of Tommy/Terry that is. I posted this yesterday and didn't get much feedback. I'm seriously hearing that could be in the works with Terry dying to get back into coaching. They coached together at Auburn and did a pretty damn good job. Terry helped Tommy get his first gig at Tulane. If Tommy got our job, would he want to help his bro out. Terry was a helluva coach. He just didn't get along with Lowder(imagine that).

He's been out of coaching for a decade. It's a completely different game now than it was when he left. And he wasn't such a terrific coach even back then. Pat Dye had left that program absolutely loaded with young talent when he was forced out due to the probation. Terry won big with Pat's talent, then didn't do jack **** when he had to coach his own players. He'd be a terrible hire for any position on a coaching staff.

With the right guy-not Terry Bowden-I feel the Aztecs are a mid-major sleeping giant. Great recruiting area, some tradition, fantastic weather, etc. I was surprised Chuck Long sucked it up so much.

San Diego is one of the best places to live, but as far as football is concerned, they are consistently one of the worst teams in America. (of course, so are we... but we are in the SEC at least)... Since Marshall Faulk left, I have not even seen them on TV, or heard anything about them unless it is the Bottom 10 rankings on the WWL in sports.
