god awful, pathetic, embarrassing, 8th graders could score on this team, bad our defense was. We have averaged scoring over 80 pts in our last 3 losses. I don't think there is another team in the country that can say that.

We better hope that Moultrie can defend, because if not, this team isn't going to be any better in 2011/12. I didn't watch Hood this year, but a 180 lb true freshman worries me.

Our guys had gotten used to having him down low to take care of anyone driving with the ball. They could slack off from time to time and know that Jarvis could block any shot. Sidney doesn't have that skill.

The problem is that Ravern and Sidney are terrible defenders. Ravern gets pushed around by anyone over 180 lbs, and Sidney just doesn't understand where he needs to be/what he needs to do when he gets there.

Think about this. How many charges did we take this year? I dont know the answer, but I'd guess is around 10..

on defense next year (assuming he comes back) year when Moultrie takes up the center spot. Sidney is fine on defense one-on-one, especially when he puts in the effort like he did last night, but it's when he's forced into help situations inherent to a center's role that he gets lost. What I think would help even more is being able to play man, which we can't do when he's on the floor right now due to his conditioning, as it would narrow his assignment even more.
