What happened on the punt return?...

...you know, the one near the end of the game that almost got us beat. Someone on our sideline must have gone on the field during the play. Everyone was
bitching at some civilian wearing a maroon jacket and a grey cap. What happened??

Roughing the kicker. Then a sideline penalty that nobody saw coming. I was pissed because the ref said the sideline warning was "against the return team", which would mean 2 penalties against UPig and 1st and 10 for us.

He saw the Roughing and got a stiffy, and started running back on the field. Thought the play was over with I'm assuming. He noticed the returner coming up the sideline and 360'd it back to the sideline. What made it worse is that he had his helmet off. If his helmet was on, they might not have even noticed.

Who knows, that civilan everybody was getting on to might have yelled for offense to get back on the field, and Brig. took off running.

Guess that's what you get when you have to take people who need tutors and untimed tests just to make an 18 on their ACT.

We were like " what the hell is he doing?" But I didn't see the flag until after the play was over. I knew what it was when I saw it.

I hate that offsetting crap though. How can a 5-yard penalty offset a personal foul? They should penalize us five yards, then penalize Ark. 15 yards and automatic first down. Mark the penalties off and let them determine the outcome.</p>
