That's pretty clear now. They have all the facts they can legitimately make a decision on, and since those facts don't justify even a 24 game suspension, they're just going to sit on it until it's too late for him this season. I'd be curious what happened or what they think happened that has made them pcik Sidney to 17, but that's where we are.
Maybe there's a point late enough in the season where they think clearing him to play is likely to do Sidney more harm than good, but my guess is they just stall the rest of the season.
I hope those mother 17er's get herpes.
