Initial switch over may have been annoying to most...but it's the same setup once you're in and just as easy to use. No one could stop the buyout/merger...but the staff has done a great job.

Adapt and overcome...keep up or get left behind. Same here as with anywhere/anything.

You also have to consider that some teams moved around some. Some 1A teams are now 3A, so the rivalry and banter from some of the posters aren't there. For instance the MA and Tarboro or MA and SMC fans don't talk as much as MA is now 3A and the others are 1A-2A. Some posters kids have graduated so they don't get on here as much either. I'd give it a year or so and I think it will pick back up some.

Many may have been scared off when, at first, it seemed you needed to pay. I guess a number of the old posters just never checked back to see the free option.

there is a huge difference, alot of posters did not make the switch. Kind of dissapointing.

one of the biggest rivalries in the state JK-WRH takes place this week and not a thread started yet.

NCPreps didn't have a choice. Rivals was bought out by On3. It was a forced merge and Deana was left to pick up the pieces.

I had a lot of trouble when the site switched over, then lost my username and did not want to create another. I did keep up with the site and asked about my username on a couple of occasions. A few weeks ago, I signed up again and it let me have my username back, even though it shows I'm a new member. The old days use to be fun when everyone was on here flaming each other. I miss thedamnman from JK - and a few others that flamed each other.

Well there is some Good Football played in Duplin County. I believe 3 out of 4 high schools there have multiple state championships with every team having at least one. How many counties in NC can say all of their schools have state championships? JK/Wallace and ED/Wallace have to be 2 of the best rivalries in North Carolina.

Duplin county has some great football no doubt about that! We use to have a great rivalry with Havelock back when we were both 3A and conference rivals. We had a few games with around 5000 in attendance. We are lucky to have 1000 now. Biggest rivalry in the state is Pisgah-Tuscola. Those mountain boys get at it too! Crowds always over 10,000 at Tuscola and larger when it’s at Pisgah. 50/50 this year the winner got 13,900.00 that was at Tuscola. I’ve got to get to a Richmond - Scotland game. Shelby -Reidsville. There’s a bunch of great rivalries to go see. James Kenan at Northeastern was a good one too!

Northeastern don't want to tangle with James Kenan this year.
