I hope we can stay within 3 td's by the time the clock rubs out cause it might be the ugliest score a team will put on us in some time. We have had some ugly ones and that is a scary thought.

As ugly as it started, it got on track. I'll watch without knowing what to expect.

I doubt we come out flat... let's put it like that.

Bowl eligible, no pressure, not expected to win, go out and throw caution to the wind. Team will not be flat like today. My prediction ....... Snell will throw out of the wildcat !

Our "fans" would come up with someone else they demand to be fired for the time being.
You know, firing someone cures all ills, even if it's in the first quarter of a game, like tonight.
They always got the Athletic Director. God help us if people stop complaining about Mitch. If that happens the rifle teams equipment managers better look out

Give him a golf clap for doing at the bare minimum what should be expected of a U.K. football coach?
6 wins is the worse season a UK football coach has ever had. 7 wins, I laugh at 7 wins and beating a team that was in the conversation for CFP. If we are not winning 11-12 games a year, then we should sstart over, and forget giving the new coach 5 years, he should be doing it in year 2. Why look at how Cal took the basketball team to EE in first year. Ok, the new coach should do it in his first year, if not, hey time to get a new coach. Saban, Belichek, maybe Pete Carroll. or we could give Stoops 1 more year to crack the CFP

This is a good time to face Louisville. I'm not sure what team will come out there Saturday at noon, but they had the air taken out of their sails a bit with that lackluster showing last Thursday. I hope there isn't a hangover from that, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Plus UK was given the recipe on how to stop Louisville's offense. Just bring extra men in the box because the line still stinks.

It ain't the firing that fixes the problem. It's the hiring that fixes it. The right hiring. Stoops is in over his head. And Mitch is too.

Problem is UK has played two teams that are of UofL's caliber or better - and were outscored 79-13.

True, but UK has improved since UF and Bama, and the Cards are a bitter in state rival.

How has UK improved? You're going to look better against that schedule in October. They are one week from getting rolled by a soft UT team. And you act like Louisville doesn't have anything to play for. They have a lot more at stake than the Weedwacker Bowl.

Where is this Weedwacker bowl you speak of? I want to see who gets invited. Is it in Colorado and called the Columbian Gold Weed Wacker bowl :)

Stoops couldn't beat UL and Petrino if his life was literally on the line.
Really? Actually, injuries played as big a part in Louisville's win last year as Lamar Jackson did! Had Boom and/or JoJo not gotten hurt in the first quarter, maybe the results may have been different! Through the first half last year, Stoops totally out coached Petrino! This year, Kentucky is much better than it was last year and is deeper at running back than it was last year, and I don't think Louisville is that much better than it was last year. The key to this year's game is keeping Jackson on the bench and how do we do that? Prolonged ground game and score touchdowns at the end of those long drives! And, all the time, Jackson can't run all over UK if he is on the bench! I don't think Louisville can consistently stop Boom, JoJo, and Snell! Then, I think Johnson will be able to connect with our Wide Receivers for a balanced attack! Remember, the pressure is on Louisville, not Kentucky! I think Kentucky is just a good as Louisville except for maybe Jackson! Take Jackson off Louisville's team, and the talent level is pretty even!

You guys have selective memories. Yes the acts were up 21 -0 but it is not like the offense was rolling over UL. 1 TD was a pick 6 run back 80yds, 1 TD was after another pick run back to the red zone. The 3rd TD was a drive but the bug play was a long 3rd down pass play.

As a Card fan I might point out UL was missing key players as well.

Either way both teams are different this year. UK is nothing like last years offense though your defense is similar.

Defense has to get a few stops and we can't trade field goals for touchdowns in the red zone.

Loserville can only put 11 men on the field at a time. Last I watched, UK put 11 men on the field. Where is UofL a lot better then us. One place QB, but he was better then Houston's QB, and they still lost. Our OL is definitely better then theirs. There is NO comparison in RB's. I'll take Snell, Boom and JoJo any day over their RB's. Their DB's are probably better then UK's, but I think our receivers are on par with theirs.
Of course, as we all know, is to control the game with our RB's and keep Jackson contained. Yes, it can be done. Duke and Huston both proved it.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

The problem when they have the ball one of the 11 they put out there is Lamar Jackson,we manage to get 11 on the field most of the time.

Their DB's aren't all that great, and they do just about as much goofy crap(turnovers and penalties)as we do but Jackson covers for them most of the time.Maybe they come out a little flat after last week,we always seem to be the game after a team stinks up the joint.

Make yourself happy, stop watching and don't go to the bowl game. Hell I would hate to see anybody be as miserable as you are right now.

It will probably be Cal. Why. Because he did beat some cupcakes by 60+
