What if the Big 12 is acting as an assassin for the SEC/Big10?
Probably not too far off base— but a certain order has to happen: Notre Dame has to decide they are remaining independent or joining the BIG 10. If the join the Big Ten, two things immediately happen. The ACC is immediately destabilized and Clemson, FSU, UNC, UVA etc are heading for the door. would guess 4 ACC teams to the SEC — they’d be at 20. Then 2-4 to the Big Ten. If it’s just two ACC teams then that means the Big Ten has added another PAC team of which it is bound to be Stanford since they USC and UCLA and ND play every year for that 20th spot. Then the Big Ten would be at 20. Like you said to deliver the ACC knockout then the BIG 12 would take up to four each of the PAC and ACC to get to 20 It could be Washington and Oregon To the BIG 12, but not necessarily if Arizona, ASU, Colorado and Utah were wise enough to come onboard first. If they don’t good chance a couple of them would be left out When all is said and done. The BIg 12 also adds the schools not desired by the SEC or B10 from the ACC— some have speculated that would end the grant of rights.
