Coaching football to win games? - Not no but heck no. I doubt he will ever be good at that. Look, he didn't even want to be a head coach. He was forced into it by his mentors and it is painfully obvious that he is in over his head. Winning games is NOT what is important to Croom at all. He knows he cant do that. He is here to pave the way for others to follow or something along those lines. I listened to his ESPN interview on Youtube yesterday before the game to get fired up and suddenly it became clear. To get rid of him is to promote him in to some sort of higher position. We can say, great job CC, you have done your job and now you will be rewarded with this desk job and then everybody looks good. We just need to get him out of the "coaching" role as soon as possible if winning games is important.

That is exactly what he is good at and a way to make an excellent living! He can use this coaching gig as a jump off to his real calling.

How this man was able to convince Lonnie Tinkle, a man who felt fixing the bathroom troughs was too big of an investment, to actually double the salary and extend the contract of a guy who ranked last in the league for 4 years definitely shows me something about the man.

...away a program's momentum from a previously thought-of turn-around season by losing to La Tech.

Thereby plunging the program back into oblivion.
