Mostly just to get under his skin.
"Gary, are you and Myles Brand blowing each other off on the weekends? You're pointing out a questionable recruit for Mississippi State University, with little evidence, save an LA Times article with a source that's been on the wrong support end of everything involving Renardo Sidney. Grow some balls and write about Memphis. Then maybe your childish speeding ticket analogies will hold some water. They've done tons worse than Stansbury and MSU (or anyone on the west coast, for that matter) ever dreamed of. Coach Cal ran one of the dirtiest programs in the country while he was there, and you write nothing. This information is easy to come by, yet you don't even pursue it. You are a piece of **** journalist who can't bring himself to go after the big boys, or your beloved Tigers, and instead you pick on a school that has a middle of the road reputation because it's easy. These are playground caliber write-ups with nothing to offer. Maybe one day your testicles will drop from your stomach and you'll be worth a damn. At that point, you'll go after Kentucky. You'll go after the thousands of dollars that John Wall already has in his parents' bank account, and you'll sift through the dozens of forged academic documents Calipari has provided for. Why not question that camp? Get a #+@%#+# life and do something worth a damn rather than trudge through softball gimme ******** that the NCAA is tossing up. Jesus, man. Are you really trying to be worth a ****? Are you that naive? Or are they paying you off too? Grow some nuts and expose some real dealings before you write some "I'm going to be sympathetic with the NCAA" load of crap that doesn't provide any new insight on the corruption of college athletics. I lost all respect for you in your last article. You're taking the easy way out. Until you call out the NCAA, you're just a phony *****. I hate to be rude, but like Kenny Powers says, I had to !%@# you up with some truth."
Yeah, it was a humor-injected rant. But Gary Parrish has been on this **** way too long. Sidney's no different than most of the high-profile prospects. The only difference is he had an LA beat writer stuffed up his *** and he was recruited by a program that got exposed for wrongdoings prior to his arrival.
