I don't know why, but I've been thinking about this lately. Things that run through my head are disease, weather event, food chain breaking down due to overpopulation, man initiated event such as a war, etc.

Thoughts?

Zombie's or a slight chance that the sun comes crashing into the earth and we all instantly burst into flames !
I'm O.K. with either......because the Dr. tells me that I have a high tolerance for pain .

So I'm good ! :cool2:

Too many people will get on one side of the flat earth and cause it to tip over. We'll all fall off like food scraps being emptied off a plate.

Once people realize the Earth is flat, they will start carving away to make sure globes are accurate. About 4 billion will die.

Edit to add - I seriously think it will be our dependence on automation and computers. We are headed down the path of the people in "Wall-E."

Sorry I had to edit - My microwave finished reheating my Supersize Big Mac meal and I had to change the batteries in my remote.

ooohhh i forgot, overpopulation as well

Overpopulation won't happen. Every country that becomes industrialized starts to shrink in population. There aren't that many non-industrialized nations left. Also we can more than produce plenty of food for everyone.

My guess is some extraterrestrial event no one sees coming. Something like an asteroid, solar event, etc.

Some people see it coming, look up Project Bluebeam.
