What is Starkville lacking...

as a recent alumni let it be known that i completely love starkville and everything about it...nothing makes me more mad when i tell someone where i went to school and they say "o yeah starkville? is there anything to do there?"...starkville had everything i needed to have an amazing college experience and i wouldnt change it for the world, that being said there are some things that would be welcomed...

#1) a sports bar...and yes i know that one is being built that was supposed to open 3 years ago but even that one is in a horrible location, i would love to see a great sports bar on main street with wings, pitchers of beer, and sports trivia 2 nights a week, it would be a gold mine.

#2) a Ci's Ci's pizza...cant tell you how many times me and my buddies craved CiCi's over our time there they could put it in that area w the run down movie theater and it would be slammed every lunch w eager bulldog minds

Of all the things Starkville needs, a FeCes Pizza doesn't even crack the top 100 list. I'd much rather see a Mellow Mushroom Pizza, but it's in a whole different price category.

The leadership in this town is severely lacking. It appears as if the search for the next CEO of the Partnership is being botched in a major way. Strong leadership in Starkville would be a giant leap forward...

...serious numbers of MSU fans willing to purchase second homes/condos here and come spend weekends for various reasons other than 6 football games. Bulldog fans want great restaurants, shopping and such? Well, those guys can't make a living on Starkville residents alone for 46 weeks of the year. Cause at this point, Vegas is tapped out on the "upscale dining" and "cute dress shop" end of things.
