Donald Trump is the GOP candidate....let that sink in....Donald Trump is the GOP candidate.

Having said that, there are apparently lots of possibilities to rejuvenate the party right? Hey where is WVPATX anyway? Something about 'there's a movement' or something....where the hell is this movement...oh yeah...Trumped...

Donald Trump is to politics as Howard Stern has been to radio.

Says what they want, is accused of being sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. People claim to hate him and can't stand him, but they listen to him, and secretly agree with him.

One of two things happen. Trump revolutionizes the Presidential election, or he falls flat on his face.

Well I certainly think he's set a precedent where his classless tactics will be used in other elections.

An Oligarchy, which we already have. All of this Trump noise is just that. Hillary has been the new president all along. The voters are powerless

Mika Brzezinski asked Donald Trump whether he had a foreign policy team. Trump gave a rambling response, saying, "Yes, there is a team. There's not a team. I'm going to be forming a team. I have met with far more than three people." On Wednesday morning, Brzezinski gave Trump another shot at the question. She asked him again about his foreign policy team and strategy and, more specifically, whom he consults with consistently.

Trump replied: "I'm speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I've said a lot of things. I know what I'm doing, and I listen to a lot of people, I talk to a lot of people, and at the appropriate time I'll tell you who the people are. But my primary consultant is myself and I have, you know, a good instinct for this stuff."

He has a very good brain and great words ... no need to listen to anybody else. Especially with all of his foreign relations experience. After all, he's better at the military than anybody.

How did Hillary or Bernie respond to Brzezinski's same question when she asked them?

He said when he was in military school, he got more military experience than a lot of guys in the military.

The guy is a basket case. He could surely be diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and could possibly be a sociopath.

Did you see the Matt Lauer thing? Backstage he is told about the video with all the women repeating misogynistic things he has said, and he says that he's seen it and it's a Romney deal. Then he gets on camera 5 minutes later and says that he hasn't seen it at all.

When he said very early "I'm better at the military than anybody", I immediately thought that this guy is off his rocker. Somebody that has never served is better than anybody else? Somebody with no practical experience in this kind of foreign relations is better than anybody else? On what basis does he make these statements?

My biggest disappointment in all of this is a total lack of Jon Stewart to highlight Trump's daily BS-fest.

Who is the military team of Hillary who you don't support, but responds to every barb thrown at her? I thought the barking ad was great in response to the all women ad. Didn't you laugh along with the KGB? Now, that was funny - don't care who you are rooting for.

I don't respond to every barb thrown at her. Do a search of my posts in threads about her email server, or just about any other mention of her. I believe "utterly loathesome" has been used a number of times. And I believe I've countered every excuse anybody has given for her having her own private email server.

The only thing I respond to as far as she is concerned is how the Trump supporters don't want to address his shortcomings but instead deflect to Hillary. If the thread is about Trump, as this one is, I can stay on topic. If the thread is about Hillary, as many have been, I can stay on topic.

And so, here we have another instance of a Trump supporter (that would be you, regardless of how many times you've claimed you aren't) not being able to address the topic at hand but instead has to deflect to something about Hillary.

Are you OK with Trump's answer? That he's only consulting himself because he's "said lots of things"?

That was not my question. However, since it is so early in the election process I am willing to wait. I'm sure he would be able to give a better answer when his direction is more clear. You are totally underestimating him just like you have from the very beginning of this election cycle. According to your crystal ball, he should have been long gone. I think you may be in for a very rude awakening.

I understand The Donald has a new ad coming out that shows Hillary delivering her "Vast right wing conspiracy" right after a picture of all the women that Bill tapped or those he attempted and failed. That ad will run a couple times a month through November.

Damn, this season can be something to look forward to with supporters showing the unrestricted campaign ads that are allowed currently. Hell, everyone could make an award winning ad from the material currently available.

To answer the question in the OP, it will be more of the same. They are right smack dab in the middle of one of the biggest presidential race screwups in history and they are blocking a SC nominee. The are so stubborn and ill advised, they are not only handing the WH to the dems, they are handing some Senate seats to the dems. If I were the leadership of the RNC, I would probably allow Trump to get the nomination and concede the WH. The alternative is, you hand the nomination to someone else, you piss off about 40-50% of your voting base. You may lose them forever. They may split and form another party. The angry less educated party. Sometimes you have to lose a battle to win the war. I'm sure they are wondering right now if they would have been better off letting the Tea Party folks go form their own party. They only make up about 20% of the total base of the Republican party. Sure, you hate to lose 20%, but, look at all the divisiveness they have caused. That far right lean tends to not convince any centrists to come their way.

I'm not underestimating HIM at all, however I have underestimated the number of mindless sheep that flock to him. The same people that support him are the same people that call Hillary a liar and that they'd never vote for her because she can't be trusted. I'm not going to argue that assessment as I don't trust her either, but I don't trust Trump for the very same reasons. He lies like crazy. Or "he lies like a rug" as somebody else on here put it.

It amazes me that the supporters of these people don't seem to care.

What is particularly amazing about the Trump supporters is that they support him not based really on anything he's said because he doesn't give any real plans for anything, but rather on the basis of what they think he will be like. They seem to think that what we are seeing now is not him at all but he'll be totally different once in the White House ... and yet trust him. How can you trust a person like that?

He doesn't say much of anything besides that he will be the best we've ever seen at everything. I doubt I'm underestimating him at all, but get the grave feeling that he is vastly overestimating himself.

He goes on TV and says that he's going to keep Muslims out. He goes on TV and says that we need to torture terrorists and go after their families. We have other people on TV saying that military leaders won't follow his commands because they won't commit the war crimes he's advocating. He goes on TV and says we're going to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it. He NEEDS to get a good team of advisors and actually listen to them because none of these things can be good at all for global diplomacy.

Then he says that he will negotiate between Isreal and the rest of the ME. He says he's is firmly on Isreal's side, but he won't let the rest of the ME know that in the negotiations, he'll make it look like he's neutral. It's as if he doesn't realize TV and youtube videos of what he says are available worldwide.

If Trump gets even one term it means there are way more broke-dick, brain-dead people in America than even I thought there were. But Mencken was right: nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.

That should be obvious to all if you will look at the president that the majority of those voting idiots elected. And the hell of it is some even boast about it.

Certainly have not denied that I am a Trump supporter. If I ever said that, I lost a few words on the typing. If Cruz or Kasick ever take the lead, I will be equally supportive of them. I just want a non-Democrat winner. I honestly cannot look at either of the Repubs and tell which is better or worse, but I can say I will proudly vote for the leader.

You have got to go out of your way to be such an *******. I have proudly admitted I have ben a Trump supporter from the gitgo. I supported him the last time until he quit. I will support him again this time until he is replaced by some other Repub at #1.

You are the only one who gets confused with that. Is it just part of your make-up in being the ******* you work so hard to be? You talk so much stupid **** that you really start believing yourself. There is probably a scientific name for someone like you, but I will stick with ******* as perfectly descriptive of you.

See, your attempt to alter some thinking. I have made the total circle, and you are still an *******, and I still support Trump until some Repub replaces him at #1. Not a bit difficult to maintain thought and be consistent.

Have you noticed who is left on the Democratic ticket? Queen "Bloody" Mary I and Dr. Emmett Brown.
