What is wrong with the fighting Tommy Tubberville's?

His team just attempted an onside kick in the first quarter with the score tied 7-7.... the ball didn't roll the full ten yards. Texas Tech's players just looked at it... and a Baylor guy scooped it up right in front of them (the ball was sitting still for a few moments) and ran for a TD. One of the oddest plays I've ever seen.

Baylor's kick off coverage was setup for that play to work. But it still made no sense as to why the Tech players gathered around the ball like a campfire... and allowed the Baylor guy to scoop it up and run for the score.</p>
