Wuss schedule. Moorhead could breeze through that.
What’s your answer to the wuestion?I get you’re trolling but it’s a real wuestion
Lebby, quite honestly. Unless he goes 4-8.What’s your answer to the question?
He brought in an entirely new roster this year and paid a million dollars to a backup quarterback who will never play here. This isn’t 2018. You don’t need 3-4 years to see if a guy can coach. This is his roster and he’s failed to win an sec game.We started with zero and I mean zero players when he was hired. If we can get a little more stability we will be ok but consider it a win with 7 a year. Adding another conference game will not help us. Some of the other conferences drop way off after the top 4 teams so playing an extra game doesn’t matter but in the SEC yes.
The kind that are competitive, ambitious, and love big contracts.
Yeah. I see at least 5 potential wins there. The home schedule is fairly favorable.Half of those teams will be mediocre, just like half of this “gauntlet” ended up being mediocre. The parity in this league isn’t going away. A good coach would win 8-9 games next year with that schedule. A bad one would do what Lebby is doing right now. Stop looking at helmet stickers and look at what is going on in the field of play. This isn’t 2017. No one stacks talent. Anyone can beat anyone every week. Coaching matters more than anything right now because everyone, including us, has money and talent.
I saw an interview with Vandy coach Clark Lea. He said there’s no such thing as a 3 year plan these days. If he doesn’t see a HS recruit playing be year 2, he’s taking another portal player. The same can be said for coaches. If you can’t produce by year 2 , you’re not the right hire.He brought in an entirely new roster this year and paid a million dollars to a backup quarterback who will never play here. This isn’t 2018. I think the bigger difference is Huff brought SB players with him to an SB school.Agree with this! Look at what USM's first year coach is doing. I'm not comparing the SB with the SEC but it's all relative to where you are. Of course the difference is one had HC experience and one didn't.
