What restaurant(s) will you never eat at again?

Our posters never disappoint, I ask this because, I've been to many a place that the food, service, and prices blow. Granted I've always left a tip. Two places come to mind for me.

1. Waffle House- the thought of that place makes me sick for its a constant reminder of the drunken stupors I experiended in there. Give me White Castle all day long.

2. The Olive Garden. I like there food but then they committ the ultimate sin of taking away the pizza which was the whole reason I went there.

It's your turn, what stories do you have about places you eat at where the food sucked, or you got up and left because it was that bad?

Sizzler but only because it's not an option anymore. I could eat 2 orders of steak and Malibu chicken right now and still make 8 trips to the salad bar.

Applebee's
O'Charley's

Rosie's Pizza but again, only because it's probably not an option anymore.

McDonald's - I used to be able to stomach their food, yet the past couple of times I've eaten there I've puked my guts out.

Cheddars - just a terrible place with terrible food.

Ryan's - gross buffet filled with obese people.

Perkins and a few local places (not chains) near me. They all have the same thing in common, they smell like b.o. & food was nasty.

I'll only eat at Applebee's to use up gift cards that relatives give us at Christmas. They think Applebee's is fancy.

Sadly my wife loves Rally's, Steak n Shake, Rockys, OG and Fazolis. My oldest son loves Chic fil a, Little Ceasars, Pizza Hut and Cracker Barrel, and my youngest son loves White Castles, Wendy's, Moby Dick and KFC.......

So I honestly can't say there is anywhere at some point I won't be eating! What a list of average to awful food.

I would say all Papa John's because every time I eat Papa John's pizza it's mediocre, and at the prices they charge I expect more than mediocre. I can pop a frozen pizza in the oven for half the price of a Papa John's pizza if I want mediocre pizza.

O'Charley's (I can buy their food in the freezer at my grocery for 1/2 their price)
Long John Silver's (Mde me physically ill 4 years ago the last time I ate it)
White Castle (only because I will probably never be out after midnight drunk again)

Any buffet restaurant
Culver's
Bradford BBQ in zandale - wish it was better, as the people were as friendly as could be. But, it was made in a crockpot (you could just tell it wasn't smoked...no smoke ring/bark/etc). A couple other options in town that are much better.

Roastfish & Cornbread on Hilton Head. I understand that it has closed its doors now, but when we were there about 3 years ago, we had almost a 2 hour wait for a table because they had given our table to another couple by mistake. We wound up sharing a table with two other strangers who were in the same boat as us. By the time our waitress took our orders, they were out of pretty much everything I wanted to try, and I wound up settling for a fried fish platter with a side of collards. Even though our order was taken at the same time as the couple we shared the table with, their food came out about 20 minutes before ours. My fish wasn't anything that you couldn't have gotten at your local church fish fry, and the collards were undercooked and not in the same universe as my own.Basically, we waited 2 hours for a Capt. D's fish dinner at 3X the price.

White Castle - Wrecks my colon 10/10 times.

McDonads lunch and dinner - My quota for this crap was met by my childhood and college years.

Went to Red Lobster in Richmond this evening and my son-in-law found a rubber glove in his potato soup. I shat you not!

At least we weren't charged for glove.

If it's a chain, I probably won't touch it. The people that care about the company and product are so far removed from the equation that it just isn't worth it. Poor service, bad food. Haven't been to McDonald's in 4-5 years, Olive Garden in like 20 years.

Except Taco Bell, always game for a #6 and Baja Blast. I'm not happy when I do it, but it is what it is.

If you live in any decent sized town or city why not eat the local fare? It's substantially better for not much more money.

There has never been a single time where I've eaten White Castle and afterward been like , "I'm glad I ate that."

Their potato soup is Campbell's cheese soup with chopped up french fries in it. Not difficult.
