What rule did we supposedly break recruiting AJ?

The spirit recruiting page is in an uproar b/c Richie and AJ didn't visit and they are throwing around accusations of us cheating. I guess they are laying the groundwork to tell every recruit and every media outlet that will listen that we are being investigated by the NCAA. I said that next recruiting season would be about the right timeline for them to get started and the more success we have the worse it is going to be.

Whoever is "in charge" of their recruiting will shut that **** down real quick in fear of retaliation. UM is in pretty deep with their shenanigans (of all people talking about a program cheating). They are just pissed off because our staff is doing a bang up job this year.

I read on another board they are claiming we're paying recruits to not visit.

Mullen spanking that *** on the field the last 3 seasons has them completely unhinged. But up until this year, they've always been able to hang their hat on the mythical 'crootin championship. Now this season, Mullen has even taken that consolation prize away from them. Hell, you've seen them compare him to JWS already. And we all know how much they hated The Kang. It won't be long until they're hiring PIs to follow our coaches around like they did previously. It's going to be crazy how far they'll sink to tear us down. I just hope Mullen realizes the shitstorm that's about to come his way.

</div><div>They are just going to get worse after another crap season and we go bowling again...I cant wait- because we wont roll over and take it like LT did last time</div><div>

And now their elitist attitude is starting to affect less and less people. It used to be annoying and it pissed people off. Now it's funny because that's all they have left to fall back on.

We are better than they are. We will beat them in recruiting this year, we will beat them for the 4th time in a row come November, and we will go to a 3rd straight bowl game while they sit at home on a 3-9 record. And watching theirprogram crumblewhile our programcontinues to improvegives me so much pleasure I can't even stand it. It surprises me how much hatred I have for them after only being an MSU fan for 7 years. I guess it grows on you over time. </p>

...do you think the way we handled the Cam situation and the overall belief by anyone with half of a brain that we actually got told "thanks for being a good boy- you get no justice, go away and like it": a) buys us more credibility and protection w/ the NCAA against the tactics TSUN used against Jackie or b) the conference actually giving us the benefit of the doubt (before it ever gets to the NCAA) since we got screwed by Slive to protect the front runner to aide in brining in another NC to the conference? <div>
</div><div>Before I'm blasted, no- I don't think we're down right pulling an Eddie O by any stretch- just wondering if we've "positioned ourselves nicely" against any fraudulent claims more so than in the past. Jackie had a past history with the NCAA. So far, Dan's history with the NCAA is we turned down the chance to pay for Heisman winner to come play for him. Wishful thinking on my part...I admit in advance. Because as other posters have said, you know its coming- can't beat us on the field....they might as well resort to plan B as per the usual.</div><div>

Cam Newton is water under the bridge as far as the SEC is concerned.

They (the SEC) got what they wanted- a National Championship and a Heisman for the SEC and no one on probation. Had Auburn not done that- I can guarantee you that they would have blamed "distractions" on their loss, there might have been some retaliation. But, it didn't work out that way. Which is for us, as much as I hate Cam Newton and Auburn, probably the best thing that could have happened to us.

The SEC hammering us and putting us on probation hurts not only us, but it hurts the SEC as well. The SEC isn't going to do that to itself. We just have to learn a lesson from that experience, mind our own business and go forward. The message we got from the SEC is play the game or don't- but whatever you do, you better not turn anyone in.

Paul Davisshowed us that we could actually beatthe(then) Rebels at times, Bob Tyler showed us we were as good as the (then) Rebels, Jackie Sherrill showed us we were better than the (then) Rebels, and now Dan Mullentaught us to treat the Bears like the rest of the SEC does- as an afterthought better suited to competing with Delta State in theGulf South Conference.

They obviously weren't impressed enough to want to go back. I can sympathize.I have family in Oxford, andI've been literally hundreds of times. Frankly, I think it smells like dog **** and is full of a bunch of uppity ********.
