after the season is over. or should he make any changes at all? i, along with many of you, question our play calling frequently. oline play has a lot to do with our offensive production, as well as sub par receiver play. but if mullen is the one calling the plays does les koenning deserve to get the boot? who else is on the chopping block?

Dan needed someone older and more experienced at OC and DC when he startedthat could keep control of things and deal with the pressures of rebuilding a program in year 1 while Dan got his feet wet as a new HC. Torbush didn't pan out, and he foundyoungguys with some energy and some great leadership to run his defense in years 2 and 3, and it's worked well. Now it's time for our program, especially on the offensive side of the ball, to do the same thing and get some swagger on the field and on the recruiting trail. We need a young up and comer similar to Diaz's style to run the offense now.

A young OC with some southern ties that is building a good reputation could be a huge asset to our program. I don't know who that would be, but I think that is the biggest addition needed on this team right now.

Don't forget that. Plays, schemes, gameplan, Mullen calls the shots on all of those.

Not saying he is a bad coach, but Idon'tthink he is ready for the big leagues yet. <div>
</div><div>Also, people claim he is a good recruiter but he has whiffed on all of this recruits.</div>

They wait for plays to happen - they don't make them happen. We saw opposite ends of the WR spectrum playing Arkansas tonight.

Everytime I see him on the sidelines he just looks overwhelmed. I'm not mad Mullen gave him the job after the way the WR's played in the bowl game, but our WR's and this team can't afford to have another year of piss poor WR play. We need a ruthless WR coach that isn't afraid for our WR's to get physical and win one on one battles in the run blocking game and one on one in the passing game.
