What statisical mark do you think we have to eclipse for us to win tomm?

For me, it's passing at 150 yards. Over 150yds I think we win, under, it's less likely. Alabama is vulnerable in the secondary and we have hit some big passing plays(big as in 40ish yards) the past few games. I think we will be able to run the ball okay, but if we show the threat of passing the ball on them, I think we take it. over/under at 150passing yards for me.

Prediction: Relf 11-18 159yds, 1TD
Clark-1rec, 37yds, TD for our "big" pass play

...I was commenting that Bama (being Bama) could find a way to win even if State scores more points..(again b/c they are Bama). What did I miss?

Less that 120yds. rushing for Bammer.

Passing will obvioulsy be crucial for us. If we cannot complete the easy ones like Ralph has the most trouble doing then it may be an agonizing game to watch - not saying that will lose necessarily but it will still be a pain.

We will need to pound the ball with Mr. Reliable (Ballard) and I'd like to see a toss or a check down/swing pass to Perkins and let him see if he can't make anything happen in space.

Word on the street is we are going to come out passing, going short to Bumphis and things of the like. Because Bammer's defense is very young and their secondary have had some issues this season -if you haven't watched them play. We will alsobe running more options.Sourcetold me we'veheld back on the options the past couple gamesfor the purpose of throwing Alabama off the trail, expect to see more of it.

I know that sounds strange, but if we have to start passing it means our attempt to grind it out on the ground is not working. We threw it way too much against Auburn and that burned us (35 attempts). We passed much fewer times against Georgia (15) and Florida (9) to grind out wins, which is what we'll have to do Saturday.

Relf has to rush for more than 55 yds. He has to complete passes for morethan 100 yds. The question is can he do it?
