I only eat Costco hotdogs now. I just can't digest the crappy ones anymore. If I eat one I'll burp it for 24 hours.

That aside, Argentina, France, Amsterdam, and Guatemala hotdogs look like they're worth the indigestion.

Don't have a Costco nearby(soon) but Sam's is also pretty good.

No trip out to Coney Island is complete with a stop at Nathan's...

And a ride on the Cyclone...

Grays Papaya is so cheap. It's been 4 years since i've been up there but they had a "Hangover special" that was 2 dogs for like $2.50.

Ok just looked at their website, now it's called a recession special and it's $3.50. Still a hella good deal for some tasty hot dogs.

That’s a great list! But you missed one I think. There’s a little town about 20 miles north of Las Cruces, NM, Hatch. There beside the Rio Grande they grow the best hot green chiles on the planet. I’d take a hot dog smothered in them over any other. Typically it’s served in a pork dish. I guess pigs are easier to raise than steers. Maybe I’ll be finding out about that.

The one that looks best to me is on the top right of the original poster.

The Sonoran hot dog is a style of hot dog popular in Tucson,[1][2][3][4] Phoenix,[5] and elsewhere in southern Arizona.[6] It originated in Hermosillo, the capital of the Mexican state of Sonora, in the late 1980s.[7][8] It consists of a hot dog that is wrapped in bacon and grilled, served on a bolillo-style hot dog bun, and topped with pinto beans, onions, tomatoes, and a variety of additional condiments, often including mayonnaise, mustard, and jalapeño salsa.[9][10]

The Sonoran hot dog is prepared and sold by vendors called "dogueros" at street carts.[7] It was estimated in 2009 that over 200 places in Tucson purvey the Sonoran hot dog, and that Phoenix has even more.[7]

I'm about as close to a true carnivore as you can get. So, none of the above. So whatever brand it is, just take it off the grill, put it in the bun, and don't put any of that nasty **** on it.
