Do you think we would have won more games by dumping it inside to Osby, Augustus, and Bailey? Personally I think we would have gotten the **** kicked out of us. Those three have shown flashes but nothing that indicates that any of them would be consistent performers. If we did start them then we would not be discussing the NCAA at all right now. Give it a *!**%!% rest already.

PS My retarded self meant to post this under fishwater's latest "live and die by the three ball" post. My bad.

Is that your f&ckin answer for everything?? Yeah, to hell with that liver of yours or the driver in the other lane, f&ck em, I'm stressed and need to drink alcohol to feel better. If the alcohol doesn't work then what? Maybe some tictac hydros or the good old fashioned brown stuff? And if I feel a little down, how bouta redhot pickemup or a bullet shot of the white stuff!

I get so tired of you liberals pushing your alcohol and drug abuse on us!

I am concerned with the future of MSU basketball and developing our young players. We will never know what would have happened if we had went Big this year, never. Most people thought this was a re-building year, but Stans got lucky with some hot outside shooters and now our young Bigs have no real game experience for next year. Thanks Stans.....
No one is discussing the NCAA. Unless we win the SEC tourney we are NIT or CBI bound. Sans fell in love with the 4 guards and will not change now.
Give it a rest?
My whole point is that this team relies on outside shooting to win games instead of defense and low-post play, typical MSU basketball.

Stansbury went small because it was our best chance to win now. I don't want to go 12-16 just so we can get playing time for Osby, Augustus, or Bailey. Whether we have relied on the three too much or not, we have played pretty darn well at times with the 4 guard lineup. We will be very deep at the guard position next year as a result. Players can develop in practice and not at the expense of losing.</p>

Stans got lucky with recruited some hot damn good outside shooters
And dawgstudent is right, you play to win now. If Osby and Augustis aren't good enough to crack the lineup this year, they need to sit their *** on the bench until they are good enough to crack the lineup.

There is absolutely ZERO chance we end up in the CBI. And like DS said, you win as many games as you can however you can and deal with next year when it gets here.

Stans teams are know for defense and low post play....
Rhodes, Mario, & LR were not perimeter players.

I misread your post. I thought it said that typical MSU basketball was relying on 3's instead of defense and inside play. My bad
